decent cruise vacation by Snowbird4946314

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Caribbean - Western

ship is functional. Having needed refurbishing in 3 months. 50% food excellent,20% good/ok, 10% terrible . Ice cream station cheap quality and nasty. Room service delicious and prompt. Brunch : food taste and presentation was excellent but understaffed and too crowed - elderly man fell down walking to upstairs dining room with his plate of food. No midnite buffet. Conceirge class not worth it. just get a balcony room, dont pay for conceirge. steward allowed family to leave a baby stroller in hall obstructing 60% of the walkway . didn't move it til I kept telling them it was safety hazzard. Good entertainment. Nice expensive spa. Nice gym.all bar drinks excellent. service from all workers was great

Ship: Celebrity Millennium

On This ship, you would enjoy the adult section Which has a salt water pool with Bubbles coming out from the rollers on each side of the Pool and on each corner they have a pipe where water comes out With a strong pressure of water You stand under the pipe and the water massages you with pressure is very enjoyable You can also order food in that section Has grill salmon or chicken. And it is for adults only.

Horrible Cruise! by KellyS5

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Caribbean

The ship was quite small. We were excited to get on and things were going well. We are a couple in our 30's and there was no one under 60!

"Had a great time" by DonnaB13

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Clean, well organized, freindly professional staff. Small, older, not many features for kids, not many activities on schedule. For us this was fine as we live in Florida and cruise refquently and this cruise did NOT include our children.

A very Sedate Cruise by DavidO1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group

The ship was quite nice, although I hear it is going to dry dock soon for refurbishing. The food was wonderful and I thought the staff was friendly and accommodating. (except for DJ Francesca!)

A crowded experience! - lacking privacy! by JuanF

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Nice facilities but not enough space. Food was great but every meal was too congested from the moment of finding a table to waiting for food to be serverd on the lines. For instance, average waiting time during breakfast was about 20-25 minutes on the line for eggs/fruit to be served. The AA travel agent sold me health insurance for my group which I was not able to use at all during the trip. I tried using the insurance I purchase during the trip and the Cruise did not recognize the insurance - now I learned that Celebrity Cruises doesnt accept any insurance at all. I could have used my own company health insurance instead of purchasing one for my group from AA travel agent....VERY DISAPPOINTING!

Too many people! by AdrianaM1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Room service and staff's attention was excellent. Service room and restaurant waiter was excellent. However, the facilities of the cruise are not enough for an average family with 2 young children (under 10). Too many people for pool area, not once were we able to enjoy the pool during normal daytime hours. The excursion in Roatan was excellent including the beach and staff attention. The excursion in Cozumel (Playa Mia) was terrible. Poor information provided by the Cruise Shore Excursion staff, they recommended Playa Mia as the best place for a family to relax a day at the beach. Playa Mia was overcrowded, space was very limited and congested - guests from other cruises were also present during this day. The food was a complete disaster, cold and limited variety for a familiy.

A very well maintained ship by JoeV3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Caribbean - Western

My has Celebrity changed since our last cruise with them. The main dining room was the issue with the food being Bland, Tasteless and Overcooked. The wine list was also a sore spot with a range of Boutique class wines All Over Priced and limited selection. Every body at our table experienced food quality problems including one older lady that actually had the wait staff cut her steak Because She Couldn't!

Have cruised many times before on other lines but this cruise was excellent. The food and selection were great. Alternative menu was all that would be needed. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Can't wait to go back on Celebrity.

very nice cruise by JamesE1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Caribbean - Western

we really enjoyed the cruise and place it above previous cruises on Carnival and Norwegian. Most of the staff was extremely friendly and diligent, however there were a few members who, although nice were inept. We did not attend any meals in the dining room so no comment here. We ordered from room service a couple of times which was not bad but on one occurrence a burger was ordered with cheese and chili which was listed on the menu, but the burger arrived without chili. When we called regarding this and asked that the chili be brought you would think I was speaking an unknown language. I was asked what chili was. When "chili" was delivered it was crushed red pepper. Not even chili peppers but cyan peppers so I do not see the reference to chili at all. The Sunday brunch was a disaster. The food was only okay, there were not enough cooks at the hot serving stations and some of the burners were not working. To make it worse, there was not enough room so many guest had to be seated upstairs required long treks up and down the stairs.

Short (5 day) cruise by KathleenD4

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Excellent (dining room and stateroom staff) service. Sommelier suberb. Entertainers were talented and played to demographics (mostly 60+). Majority of time at sea but too few activities and those offered often carried additional charges (unlike other cruiselines). Tours great. Shirley in Roatan excellent, incredibly knowledgeable guide. Excellent experience except for reception at port. One of customer service supervisors at the entrance screamed at me when I requested assistance. A Miami police heard him and assisted me. The police, porters, and parking garage attendants weer wonderful but the CSR and his staff were horrible.

A Wonderful Cruise by JeffL

Sail date: / Traveled as:
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Caribbean - Western

I have cruised on Carnival and Royal Caribbean ships, but this was my first Celebrity ship. I check the reviews but still was not sure what to expect. I just finished a 6 day trip from Miami to Honduras and Cozumel. It was much better than either Carnival or Royal Caribbean. The staff meet you outside on arrival and give you a glass of champagne. The carpeting thruout was superb design. Lots of shopping on board. Very few children aboard too. Great decor in general. Rooms were clean and ice and cold water provided, which was great. Most staterooms are above the dining areas, casino and shops, which was very convenient. Plenty of elevators.

Great Cruise Experience by RichR1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Restaurant staff in main dining was exceptional. Food was a lot better than Carnival or Norwegian. Rooms were very clean and good size. Ship is older but well maintained. Shorter lines to wait than on other cruises. Entertainment was good , shows were OK but not great. All ship staff is very attentive and friendly.

Enjoyed more than expected by HL78378753

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Enjoyed this cruise in many aspects. They pay attention to small services. e.g., (1) As you return to the ship from Cozumel, they are waiting with cold water and cool towels. I have not seen any other cruise doing this. (2) Cold fruits are delivered to the deck while people are enjoying the deck next to the pool.
