Review summary

Wonderful ship and crew. Exceptionally well maintained and outstandingly clean! The crew, entertainers/entertainment/naturalist lecturers were all friendly, knowledgible, personable and professional. Food was very good, but not great in that the meals in the main dining room generally were covered with too many/much sauce(s).

A couple of the lead entertainers were just "Okay". The permanent singers and dancers were outstanding! I would have liked to see more of them.

Gorgeous city with lots of flowers and parks. The Inner Harbout area is great, but pricey.
Don't Miss: Butchart Gardens - "World Class"

Picturesque and friendly. Not much to do but walk and shop...

Do the White Pass tour. Best to take the train one-way and the bus the other.
Don't Miss: Take the trip up to the White Pass.

Juneau, Alaska

We booked a tour, but found it unsatisfactory as it didn't allow enough time at the glacier and the guide just wanted to talk about her background and grandchildren. When we got back to the ship, we just jumped on the shuttle and spent the afternoon hiking near the glacier. ($14.00 round trip)
Don't Miss: Mendenhall Glacier - stunning!

Ketchikan, Alaska

Not that interesting to me..

Pros: Glaciers and fjiord cruising. Oh, Victoia, BC, too.

Cons: Too many sauces on virtually every main meal.
