Embarkation was the fastest of any cruise we've ever done! The ship is very nice and we had fun, but this is not a party ship. Celebrity still dresses in the evening, so bring at least business casual or resort wear clothing. Tip for smokers, two of our friends smoked and it was kind of sad to see that smokers are confined to three little areas of the ship located at the Mast Bar, Sunset Bar starboard and deck 5 starboard.

Just a couple things Drink package is way better then Carnival. Never had a single issue getting a drink. Do not miss the shows or game shows, they are a lot of fun. Trivia contests were great and a good time killer before dinner or a show. Save room for the home made ice cream

The demographic is older (55+) so if you are looking for a younger demographic this is not the ship.

With everyone signing up for the beverage packages now, they do not have to push the purchase of alcohol. The downside of this is that the wait staff has been noticeable reduced and you often have to go to the bar to get a drink.

Plan your day in advance. There is a lot available and you can miss opportunities if you do not look at the daily publication of things to do.

If you are older and want to hang out with the 50+ crowd, celebrity is a CruiseLine for you. I would not recommend this for people with children under 21. I wouldn’t recommend it for my 30 year old self.
