After 17 cruises with Celebrity it is time to say goodbye. They certainly have lost their edge over other cruise lines. The food was beyond bad. It reminded me of stories of WW11 rationing in Britain, i.e. pea pie, okra stew and rice with everything.

Celebrity Equinox has the best buffet food. We have cruise 15 times.

We are loyal Celebrity cruisers. We enjoyed the cruise. Dinner menus and theater performances should be more varied for frequent Celebrity cruisers.

I enjoyed the cruise staff and food more than the ports. Although I thoroughly enjoyed every port.

I would do this cruise again in a heart beat. The only thing I would do different is get a room with a balcony and go on different shore excursions.

Hurricane Idalia changed our itinerary a bit, but we still had an amazing time. Kudos to the captain and Celebrity for making the right call to re-route us to avoid the storm's path so that we could enjoy calm waters and great weather. Our Bimini port day was replaced with Jamaica, but it all worked out well for a very relaxing end of summer vacation!

I would highly recommend this cruise. If you are looking for a beautiful ship with the right balance of entertainment and relaxation this is your cruise line. There are enough activities to keep everyone entertained. I always select Celebrity because the quality of amenities and services are higher garden than other popular cruises. Older avg passenger age vs that of other ships, and common areas are not as crowded. Great cruise to relax and unwind.

Nice ship, great Staff, boring ports except for Grand Cayman.

Service was excellent! Shows and entertainment were great! Main dining room menu selection not up to high standards as previous cruises. Celebrity cutting back on higher priced food choices on shorter length sailings even though they are charging you same price per night as longer sailings. You now have to pay extra for lobster, rack of lamb, pork chops, fish, seafood, and many beef selections as they are only offered for an extra price in main dining room and at specialty restaurants with a high price point. Main dining menu is repetitive, with limited appetizers and main course options. Quality of food is still good but has also declined. Even cutting back on quality of perks offered to their loyalty customers. Time of loyalty reception was midday which was inconvenient for most guests to attend. Food and drink options were limited and in short supply as compared to other past cruises. Not a good way to treat your loyalty customers who keep you afloat!

One thing that I didn’t understand was that in my research, I saw over and over about dress code. “Smart Casual” and “Evening Chic.” My husband recently lost 90 pounds and as we live in Florida, when he had to buy new clothes for his new weight, he bought shorts only. To prepare for the cruise, based on everything we read, he bought three pairs of long pants and three button up, collared shirts. The first night, in Silhouette, we saw someone in golf shorts. I figured they allowed it because luggage might not have arrived in time. The second night, someone else was in golf shorts. But on the way out, we stopped at the hostess desk to change our reservations for the next night. A group of 8 was waiting to be seated (2 of their party hadn’t arrived). A young couple walked in. The girl had on cut off Jean shorts with her butt cheeks hanging out, a spaghetti strap tank top and leather flip-flops. He had a grunge t-shirt, jeans and sandals. I wants to the other hostess and asked if that was appropriate attire and she said they only enforce dress code on “Evening Chic” night. Why have a dress code if you aren’t going to enforce it? Do away with it then. My husband would have been way happier in golf shorts than long pants, but we specifically bought them because it said there was a dress code. When we went to the theater to watch the comedian, there were two girls in the front row in bikini tops and barely there cover up shorts. I’ve heard people say the crew members get yelled at by guests if they say anything about the dress code. Then have an officer enforce it. Crew most definitely should not get yelled at. But guests should be respectful. Overall, this was my first cruise. I talked to many passengers who had been on 30 or 40 cruises who said they were disappointed with one and that I shouldn’t use this to base cruising on. This was an anomaly. I felt I paid a lot of money to be in Prime Concierge, never to see my concierge. My excursions were so-so. The onboard activities were lackluster, the shows decent, but could have been better. The redeeming factors were the food and crew, which were outstanding. When I asked my neighbor, “I’m still not sure what Prime Concierge got me.” She answer, “Screwed. It got you screwed.”

Relaxing week with great food, sun and port shopping! Exactly what I wanted!

This was my first time on a Celebrity. Although there were some children it was a lot less than other cruises which I appreciated. The food and service was great. there were a couple of hiccups but overall this was one of the best cruises I have been on in awhile and would definitely choose to cruise Celebrity again.

First time trying Celebrity. It was very nice, from start to finish. Zero complaints. I hope to sail with them again. I hear they are moving to Port Canaveral and that would be so much more convenient for us. The all inclusive package was awesome!

third time on Celebrity Equinox, we really enjoy this ship

Have sailed most of the cruise brands and used to love Celebrity, but it was 10 years since I tried them and they've really gone downhill. Very disappointed. Feel like I need a vacation from this.

Fantastic cruise! We loved every minute of it! The ship was a bit older but in beautiful shape! We loved the smaller ship with less people on board. The food was really good and the ports were awesome!

Celebrity fell short 6/8 days, for price I should have went with a more competitive brand!

First time using celebrity and it was great for adults. There were children but not many. This cruise is geared to adults. There are no sides and kids stuff. There are kids and teen clubs available for them. The entertainment is focused on adult type shows which I enjoyed. The casinos and bars weee good as well. And if you wanted a quiet space you could always find a spot.

Of the twenty or so cruises that we have taken this was in the top five. Given the summer heat I don't think you could have made it more enjoyable. We look forward to our next cruise!
