My 3rd Alaska Cruise, took 2 of my children and they loved it.

Overall, an excellent cruising experience! Before I end this one I NEED to mention the World Class Bar. BEST BAR ONBOARD! They only do cocktails, but they have THE MOST EXCEPTIONAL BARTENDERS EVER! Nicolas (Nico) and Roberto were AMAZING! Nico was fun and full of good jokes and energy and Roberto was never very far behind. You have to check the place out if you are onboard! I am wondering why it doesn't get more attention. Back to the summary: Would love to cruise Celebrity again but being an adventurer, would like to try somewhere else.

Would definitely add this to a bucket list. Celebrity is very nice. Would sail again!!

I would sail celebrity again. The care we were given was top notch! The food and the drinks were top notch! We loved it.

Was a great cruise overall even with our cancelled helicopter glacier tour in Juneau. Great staff.

We would recommend the Alaskan crusie through celebrity because everything was just perfect and we were very well taken care of. For our first Cruise we were completey satisfied. It will be extremely difficult to top this experience with a second cruise anywhere else.

As our first cruise we couldn’t have dreamed it would surpass every expectation. We expected high standards and they were surpassed. Despite a ship of 3000 individuals, there was no sense of crowding and we often wondered where everybody was at times! The ports of call offered something new everyday and the scenery and wildlife are up there with the best in the world.

We benefited from better than average weather . But the cruise staff and overall ship board experience was very well done. They live their 10 out of 10 motto. This was my 8th cruise with 9 family members, many their first , and I could not be happier with our experience.

We regularly cruise with Celebrity, and our Alaska cruise on Eclipse was one of our best! The entire staff was professional and friendly, and our dining experiences were consistently enjoyable. Gorgeous, sunny weather was a bonus!

Overall, our first cruise was a huge success!! We had a great time !! The food and staff were EXCELLENT!!! We will do another cruise some day!!

My review... Continued. We felt the service was beyond perfection from our room steward (William, Deck 9) to our Moonlight Sonata dining staff (Roberto, our waiter; Trevis, his assistant; and Gally, our sommelier). And we would be remiss if we did not mention Olha in the Oceanview Cafe, who cheefully greeted us every morning. Ah but that's what they are supposed to do. True, but please realize they do it, seven days a week, 12 hours a day leaving family behind for seven months. These are the heart of a great cruise experience. If you do not have such experiences as a guest, don't blame the crew. In all the cruises we have taken, we remember one key point: WE ARE THE GUESTS, NOT THE BOSSES. We get respect, because we give respect. The our evening meals served in Moonlight Sonata were incredibly varied and delicious. However, the Oceanview Cafe got to be somewhat repetitious and predictable, but perhaps that is to be expected when the bulk of the cruisers take breakfast and lunch in Oceanview. So be warned: time your meals carefully. It is a great place for kids. Our biggest dining disappointment was the fact we could no find no where on the ship where we could get a simple cup of coffee other than in the Oceanview. We are not frappe, mocha, latte types of coffee drinkers but that is all we could find below deck 14. Cleaver marketing to sell coffee drinks, but not for us. We were also a bit disappointed that on practically every deck we were passing a bar. Don't get me wrong: I will imbide in adult beverages as well, but the Eclipse didn't seem to strike a balance to accomodate those who don't drink (and we met many of those travelers) and those who drink moderately or less. We would rate the entertainment as 50-50, and we would have enjoyed a full length production rather than an hour show. We also thought the Eclipse was not very kid or family friendly. This was not just our observation, but comments were heard from parents post cruise. This is not a criticism, but just something future cruisers might want to consider and make up their own minds. We did manage to have our photos taken on several occasions-- something we urge everyone to do, but the results were weak. I know you're thinking the camera doesn't lie, but even the most amateur photographer knows to check the results to make sure there isn't glasses glare. We didn't choose the best picture, but the least bad. We also thought that our stops were among the best we have seen or experienced. Alaska is an incredible place even if you see it only from the veranda of your stateroom. Overall, our criticisms are more annoyances than anything else. If the staff and crew-- those you encounter on a daily basis-- don't measure up, the cruise experience can be a dreadful one. But without question the staff and crew we met and dealt with on the Eclipse was highly competant, personable, and professional and we will remember each of them and the joy they gave us.

We took Quick Shuttle from Washington State to the Cruise Terminal. We past Canadian Immigration on the shuttle at the Port of Entry. The shuttle drops the passengers off on the upper level and the baggage is off loaded on the lower level directly to the ship. On the way to the ship we had go through United States Immigration. We boarded the ship all our luggage were in our cabins. Disembarkation we found our luggage tried to find a five passenger vehicle. The taxi are limited to four passengers. There was over a one hour wait for a van so we had to take two cabs a short distance to the hotel about a mile away.

First and last cruise with Celebrity. I prefer Royal Caribbean.

This cruise has been on our bucket list for some time and our 6th cruise since we started cruising in 2010. Other than the mountains and different wildlife it was not as much as I expected. Being from Ontario Canada a lot of the coastal cruising is the same as we have here (trees, water, coastline) other than the mountains and marine life.

This was our first time on Celebrity and we certainly had a good time. The buffet was very good and we could always find somewhere to sit. There were always plenty of staff to get you a drink. The mdr was fine with quick service anr9even on the 'any time ' you usually sat in the same area and got to know the staff....and they knew your drinks. The casino was good and DID NOT ALLOW SMOKING....great. Take note ncl. There was a lack of cocktail menus, they would make what you wanted but I do like to work my way through the menu. The ports were all good and the Hubbard glacier cruising was fabulous. We would cruise with Celebrity again.

My first time cruising, got a deal for concierge class to Alaska. I can't really say much to compare to. Concierge embarkation lunch was nice, thought I would be walking into apple's and champagne but neither. Champagne arrived quickly after requesting. View was great! Weather was good, able to enjoy 3 warm days. Pool busy on those days. Food good in MDR, buffet okay. Shows good. Disembarking was a bit busy, 2 lines merged into 1, people just stepping in at the front when number called way after people in lines. Ports were good, scenery beautiful. Well worth the money for a balcony on an Alaska cruise.

Our butler, Joey, and cabin attendance, Joe, were outstanding! I can't stop complimenting the Eclipse management and staff. We had a great cruise and will be looking to book Eclipse out of Vancouver again next year.

Overall, we really enjoyed it. A couple things could be improved (including the organization of excursion dismissal, we waited for an hour), but we would cruise with Celebrity again.
