Q: We will be traveling in June on Celebrity Eclipse and I would like to know more about the French restaurant Murano. I read in some reviews, people were allowed to have unlimited appetizers and one extra entrée and multiple desserts, is that still true or is it one appetizer, entrée and one dessert? Last year, June 2023, we dined at Tuscan Grill while on Celebrity Summit and they had a limit on appetizers, entrées and desserts, yet in June 2022, it was unlimited appetizers, entrées, and dessert at Tuscan Grill on Celebrity Summit. I did see very good reviews about Murano’s and Tuscan Grill was just ok last time we dine there.

A: We just got off of the Eclipse on May 26th. We had an amazing time! We went to Murano on the second to last night and loved it so much we went back on the last evening. Yes, you can order as much as you like. We had 2 appetizers and we both ordered t... he lobster and steak. By dessert time, we were so full and decided to share the crepe with strawberries. Amazing meal and the staff goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone is satisfied.See More

Q: We upgraded to a guaranteed verandah, and at the moment we're in 6196 (cruise isn't until December, so I suppose it could change).How much is the obstruction going to ruin the view? From what I've read, it's apparently very obstructed in that cabin :(

A: When you book a guarantee cabin it's like rolling the dice! You cannot choose your cabin, Celebrity does that for you. Whatever remains available that's what you get. If your cabin has been assigned already and you don't like where it's located or... it's an obstructed view cabin then that's the cabin you got, you cannot change it. When going with a guarantee you have no say so where Celebrity puts you. The guarantee cabins are usually not in good spots and they usually have obstructed views. They are the cabins that no one chose when they have paid for the chance to pick their cabin. I personally would never book a guarantee it's usually one of the worse cabins available. That's why Celebrity sells them at a discounted price called "guarantee cabin".See More

A: We were on the Celebrity Eclipse in September. It’s a lovely ship. We appreciated the generous number of elevators. The stateroom was beautiful and the balcony was more spacious than what we find on other cruise lines. We enjoyed our meals in the... main dining room. We only visited the buffet later in the evening when the offerings were limited so I can’t give a fair evaluation there. The entertainment in the theater was good. The best part of our cruise was the friendliness of the crew. We enjoyed that the captain was visible throughout the cruise. Celebrity has a reputation for being a cut above other cruise lines. This was evident in our time on the Celebrity Eclipse.See More

A: Yes, she is a beautiful ship. We sailed the South Pacific last year on her, the staff were just outstanding. Solstice class ships are very user friendly. Enjoy your cruise 🚢

Q: Are show reservations required on the Celebrity Eclipse? You have to make reservations on so many other cruise lines, but my last cruise on the Serenity of the Seas, we didn’t have to make reservations. Just thinking ahead, so thanks for your replies.

Q: How many sealed bottles of water/soda can I bring on ship? If not, can I preorder and have delivered to cabin?

A: you can take 2 bottles of wine on board celebrity cruises at the start of your cruise these must be consumed in your cabin or else you will be charged a corkage fee hope this helps.
