When you book a guarantee cabin it's like rolling the dice! You cannot choose your cabin, Celebrity does that for you. Whatever remains available that's what you get. If your cabin has been assigned already and you don't like where it's located or it's an obstructed view cabin then that's the cabin you got, you cannot change it. When going with a guarantee you have no say so where Celebrity puts you. The guarantee cabins are usually not in good spots and they usually have obstructed views. They are the cabins that no one chose when they have paid for the chance to pick their cabin. I personally would never book a guarantee it's usually one of the worse cabins available. That's why Celebrity sells them at a discounted price called "guarantee cabin".
