The Apex is stunning, especially the Retreat areas. The art alone is a reason to book. Luminae food was delicious, as always. Service was impeccable. Downside: all port excursions were canceled on this journey without notice until the last minute and without compensation. These excursions were the reason for booking this trip. As the ship had several very large parties aboard (one had 1500 members and one other 500), all common areas were far overcrowded, loud and without seating. Chair hogs were out in force. I was informed that cabins were overbooked and many had 4 occupants. Buffet requires a complete overhaul as the food was of low quality and for the most part, inedible. Celebrity truly needs to stop their over-profiting and return to the quality cruise line they were until last year.

The Apex is a lovely ship with tons to do. This Edge class a little bigger than their other ships but was an excellent ship

This was a very nice cruise. We had a great time. There are some differences between Celebrity and Royal Caribbean, but if you know what type of vacation you are looking for, you cannot go wrong with Celebrity or Royal.

This was a nice Christmas Cruise. There was something for everyone. It was family friendly and that was good I saw families of three generations enjoying themselves and that was good.

Unfortunately all the information you get upfront is not everything you need to know. We will take another cruise in June, 2024 but have decided what we will do differently next time.

Celebrity did not disappoint with this ship! It is absolutely beautiful! We had some very rough waters on Day 1, but all the remaining days were great! The captain took an alternate route back to the US to avoid the storms & waves, and it made the final all day at sea perfect!

Great ship, friendly staff overall. Only wish…a bit more activities for individuals who are physically active.

The Apex is a nice ship.. nothing exciting or special. Overall, the staff needs better training in accommodating basic needs. Music throughout the ship ( even the pool area) can be improved.

If you don't get a suite or above, and if you don't have the dining/drink package, you don't get to experience some of the extras. Purchasing items onboard are very expensive. If you seriously want to enjoy your cruise, save enough money so you can freely purchase and enjoy yourself! This was my first experience on Celebrity, and I wasn't impressed. A lot of things were not explained clearly, and we weren't able to enjoy the full benefits of this cruise. We will go back to our favored cruise line.

This is a 4th time when we take Celebrity line, but at this time not a good experience! Ship crew has been so horrible to deal with and after my husband and I both talking with them I don't feel like they care at all and need to express my disappointment. The service , just wasn't at the standard that we were expecting because of the only other experience we had on Solstice, Equinox, Reflection was unbelievable. The crew is very rude , no hi no by. Guest relation officer June - horrible, she need to take etiquette training. French restaurant - be careful , check the menu 2 days before you coming and spent money for la corte restaurant. However, steak restaurant was ok. At the last night on a ship we paid our outstanding bill and received a receipt, but when we came home I received another bill for the mini bar embarkation was 7:30 am. I physically can not drink a 1 litter of water and eat 2 pack of chips.

Celebrity apex had the best of everything. Food, service, staff, cleanliness and entertainment..

Loved it will do it again in the future great for the price great food, good entertainment, memories abound with all guests you meet on a daily basis

Great itinerary, but were worn out from all the excursions. Shore excursion descriptions were not accurate. This caused many who should have not been on excursion to choose.

Loved the Magic Carpet area. The new Eden area was gorgeous and comfortable. Liked the basin station entering the cafeteria.

Itinerary was changed because of outbreak of war in Israel and concerns for risk of violence in Alexandria.Israeli ports of call and Alexandria therefore cancelled.I totally understand this and hope that peace will soon be established Ship went to Limassol for an overnight stay.Unfortunately this was the end of the tourist season so many businesses closed. Subsequently ship called at Mykonos,Rhodes,Santorini and Bodrum.Very nice ports but the vast majority of the passengers chose this cruise for the Israeli and Eygptian ports of call and were therefore disappointed.With the itinerary changed at such short notice shore excursions were severely limited and booked up within minutes of posting.It was therefore difficult to find things to spend onboard credit other than in the shops or casino.Onboard credit is not accepted for future cruise bookings. It was commented on by several fellow passengers that the same Greek Island/Turkey itinerary could have been had for a fraction of the price that we had paid for this one We were told that Celebrity would not be offering any compensation for missed ports of call in the form of reimbursement or future cruise credits.Despite the savings on fuel and port charges they must have made Strikingly noticeable this cruise was the low profile kept by the senior officers after the announcement of the change in itinerary. I am very surprised and disappointed at the attitude taken by Celebrity on this

The APEX is a beautiful ship. Our ports of call were amazing. The excursions arranged thru the ship were excellent. Our daily contact with all of the employees were out standing.

They tried very hard with special meals but still could do better. Give them a a for effort. Food was not as good as on our ‘usual’ line. Staff is super friendly. Nice spaces on ship

Wonderful cruise. The ship was clean and beautiful. Staff was excellent. Restaurants were good. Second time on the Apex!

Was better than good, can be great if we have better port of call for the last 2 and more activity on the boat like zumba and line dancing.
