Nice ship, great staff, very clean, abundant food selections.

This cruise was chosen based on the timing. While on this cruise, at approximately 12:30pm, I was walking along Deck 10 and slipped on some water and fell and hit my head on the right side!! I fell to the ground in excruciating pain and sustained a large knot on my head. I was treated on the scene by two registered nurses that were cruisers who in turn called for Security. Security came and called for Medical to come transport me to the Infirmary. Once I got to the Infirmary, I was treated by a nurse and advised to return at 3:00pm to be seen by the on board doctor. When I returned at 3:00pm to be seen by the doctor, I was told I had a suffered a concussion. I was given some aspirin by the nurse and nothing by the doctor. No x-ray was done nor any kind of tactile exam to my head to assess the size of the knot/bump on my head. I returned to my cabin still in pain and I never heard anything from the medical staff again. I did get a call from Guest Services, which I relayed to them I was still in pain and feeling nauseated, however, nothing was recommended. Upon my return home, I was seen and treated by my personal medical provider. I find this kind of neglect by Carnival applauding and disgusting!!! I provided both the nurse and doctor my medical history, coupled with my age, I should have been provided better care than what I was provided!!! As a result of the fall, I was not able to enjoy the remaining amenities I had purchased with the physical fitness center. When I did go back, I became ill and had to leave and never did return. To date, I have not heard anything from Carnival regarding my status or well-being. Also, while on the cruise, I had the WORST massage ever...the massage was given by Marilou. I repeatedly told her I was cold and at no time did she attempt to warm up the room or provide me with extra blankets to keep me warm. As a result, I was NOT able to enjoy the massage at all. I strongly feel I should be reimbursed for the massage and my physical fitness fees be prorated since I was not able to use them after the fall on the fourth day. Food throughout the ship was overall terrible!!! There wasn't anything opened other than pizza 24 hours and the food and services in the Horizon was absolutely terrible!! Never before have I been on a ship where passengers had to pay for so many extra food services (Shakes, desserts, coffee, etc). Servers did not give the Carnival type of service!! Food was passed to you vs placed before you!! Food was tasteless, not hot and portions were extremely small. Entertainment was off the hook!!! Matt and Crew did an awesome job of providing great entertainment. The movies were great...the popcorn needs to be improved, like using a better oil and some popcorn salt/butter!!! Our Cabin Steward was very attentive. Did not like nor appreciate Vonya selling books that were basically outdated and did not save shoppers anything....this was $25.00 wasted or basically stolen!! However, I would NOT recommend VISTA not will I travel VISTA unless there is some positive resolution to all that I endured on this cruise. I am a seasoned cruiser...both to Carnival and other cruise lines!!

First time on the Vista and we had an amazing time, beautiful ship with lots to do.

We loved every minute of our cruise and are looking forward to sailing on the Vista's sister ship, Panorama, next year.

Our cruise director Matt Mitcham is a great asset our room steward I can only remeber her first name, Ni was exceptional. Can't wait to go on another one. Wow!

I have been on this same cruise before, on a different ship. I booked this one primarily for the Vista. The crew was really nice, but I just don't think there are enough of them for a ship this size. I was disappointed to find that all of the on-board attractions were pretty much the same. This ship does have a movie theatre, but you have to pay extra. I won't be going on the Vista again, and I certainly won't be booking on the Mardi Gras.

Best cruise so far & looking to many many more! We absolutely loved every minute of it and was so sad to see it end.

Great time. Not every cruise is perfect but try make the best of it and you will have a good time. A bad cruise is better that work any day. I am a little rough on the review but we loved this cruise.

Matt the cruise director lived up to the "talk" He was AMAZING..... The entertainers were also AMAZING and very friendly.... Katie, Joshua, Scott, Cameron and Sam to give a few names.. The Fun Squad were the best.. Lawrence, Shae etc. ❤❤❤❤ to all..

I been on a lot of cruises this was my wife first time we had a awesome time. My wife love the cruise so much we are going on another cruise December 12 2021

This was our first cruise and we are hooked going to plan on taking a cruise once a year.

The ship was nice but it was so big u couldn’t get the buffet timings right and they rushed u a little during some of the dinners because they have to feed so many people

This was a casino cruise. I did very well the first three days. Then I got greedy an lost what i had won. Then I played conservative and got greedy again. I lost again. Do not know when to get up and leave. I had a blast I am going on another Carnival Cruise this weekend. Carnival takes good care of me, being crippled. I have been on many cruises this year.

My first cruise, and I really enjoyed it. So much to do on the ship. Excursions were great. Food on the Vista was great, lots of options. Would do it again.

Vista is a big beautiful ship! I would definitely sail on her again. Ours was a Halloween cruise and we cruised with a group so it made everything so much more fun and more activities as a group. Not sure if I was cruise solo with just husband again. Group cruises are amazing!!

We had a fabulous cruise. My only complaints would be burning my husband’s pants and the uncomfortable bed, I thought they would be the same beds as the Paradise and it was one thing I was looking forward to. But, to me they are nothing compared to the fabulous time we had. I was a little nervous after reading some of the negative reviews. I don’t know what Carnival Vista ship they were on, but my Vista was the bomb! We all had a fantastic time. I must say all my boys got their money’s worth out of the drink package 🍻🥂🍹🍺🍷 We made some fabulous memories together and that’s what it’s all about for me. 💝 If I could go on a cruise every month I’d be the happiest person in the world. 😁 Our next cruise we want to take is to Alaska 😃

They need to organize holiday stuff for the holidays that fall on their cruise dates. Food was great and the people were great except the ones cleaning the rooms. They are over worked. Cruise director was below par comparably to other cruise. He needs tips from Valor's cruise director. Over all I would give the ship 3 stars. All my other cruises got 5 stars.

Ultra cruise, room was great a balcony on deck 8 plenty of room for 3 of us. Hanging closer space felt minimal since we bring a lot of hanging clothes. Food overall was great! Casino is very smoky and seems smaller than the breeze or dream ships

This was our first cruise and it was a group cruise. We loved the whole experience and can't wait to sail on Carnival again!
