Embarkation

Very quick and easy. Many carnival staff members available to assist
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We did the Anytime Dining option in the Horizons dining room. Food and service were excellent. We loved Jiji Asian (free at lunch), Guys burgers and Guys BBQ. We tried the Captaino Italian at lunch and it was good but not exceptional. The selections on the buffets were plentiful. Every meal was good.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
We did the Skyride, mini golf, pool, bean bag toss, crafting, Clue, shopping, daily puzzles, seminars etc. There was always something happening.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
We loved the return of the live musicians. I know it is more expensive but the quality it adds to the shows is noticeable.
Children's Programs
No children
Service and Staff

Service was excellent from the Cruise director all the way to the cleaners. Everyone worked together to ensure quality.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
It took a while to learn how to navigate the split decks. Some spots were hidden and we had to use a map to find things. Whole ship was kept very clean.
Cabin / Stateroom

Very good cabin with balcony. Great cabin steward.
Ship tip
Most of the cabin walls are metal so take some magnetic hooks to help organize. Also, when taking elevator hit both up and down buttons. Take the first car that comes and ride to your destination. Waiting on one to go "the right direction " will waste your time. Spa treatments... Google the reviews before you book. Mine was expensive and unsatisfactory. Had I checked the reviews I would have known not to book that particular one.
We did the Land and Sea excursion with Juan & Jesus. They did a very good job. Glass side boat for coral and fish viewing, tequila distillery and the Mayan Cocoa Company. Loved every stop.
We did land and sea here also. Big disappointment. The boat was under staffed (2 crew for 50+ passengers) and not air conditioned. Several got motion sickness and weren't allowed to go on deck because of crew shortage. We were suppose to visit a rum factory but it was just visiting a gift shop. The town of Hell had some interesting rock formations but nothing else. This excursion was well below standard.
We had been warned by previous visitors of the on shore crime so we just got off at the port and shopped near the ship. Lots of security around so it was fine. We used this day to enjoy on board activities.
We had an early flight so we were allowed to disembark earlier than others. Only problem was that our on board instruction letter didn't tell us where to meet and customer service sent us to the wrong spot. We were quickly directed to the proper spot. Disembarking was fast and easy.
