On formal night, the main dining room serve was a little slow which is understandable but other than that enjoy

For anything that Carnival tells you “Go to [insert location here] to get your tag/pass!” either show up at least an hour early or prepare to go without whatever they are giving out. They did these for Half Moon Cay shuttle passes and debarkation luggage tags, and it went about as well as you can imagine. People were fighting, pushing, yelling, and straight up stealing when the workers were setting up for the debarkation tags. It’s a huge issue that Carnival not only allowed any of this to happen, but didn’t even punish the cruisers who caused the issues. Just remember you can do pretty much whatever you want on these ships.

Plan your days out in the morning and I promise you will be able to attend everything with almost little to no wait - that’s the best advice someone gave me years ago and 8 cruises later it’s the best advice I’ve ever had!

Not to think about it twice and have fun with the crew and the musicians on board. Those people made such and impacted on my son.

Pack your patience. Carnival should allow access to tender boarding passes via the hub and use the departure information listed in reservations to disburse disembarkation luggage by stateroom attendants like other cruise lines. This will avoid the hostility and numerous near fights we witnesses when trying to secure these items.

Beautiful ship with a completely new layout, get to know the ship. Do as much as you can, MarQ does a great job trying to keep everyone entertained! Avoid being near guests that are pretty obvious in showing they are just there to complain, yell, and have no respect for crew members and others guests. This was only their 9th sailing

Don't expect to be near the pool very often. The pool areas are just too small and congested. The ship really is more suitable for cold weather, especially with a retractable roof. There are plenty of loungers everywhere, just not so much near the pool areas. The deck parties are also super crowded in these areas. If these issues are important to you, I might consider choosing a different ship.

We had a private photo shoot and it was worth every penny!!! You should check it out!! Be prepared to struggle learning how to get around on the ship. It is challenging but once you learn it, it becomes easier. Also, the pools are very small for the amount of people on the ship so be prepared for that!

Avoid as the disembarkation is horrible and the people on the ship are ignorant! Teens pushing and shoving, line cutters. A long-time Carnival cruiser no more

Be patient. Be kind. I didn’t eat at the buffet at all only dining room assigned to me and specialty dining. Use the Hub app!! Ask for a bed topper. Ask for ice to be filled each day. Get the drink package - it’s worth more than alcohol- water bottles, mimosa, special coffee, soda, sparkling water and evening drinks.
