We really didn't have a favorite part of the ship, the Valor was a great ship overall . We were all over the place, but having the serenity deck was a plus if we wanted to get away from the crowd to relax, but not be inside the cabin.

no tips and no recommendation. You are better off with other ships this ship needs a complete overhaul it is a bit depressing with all the dark wood. The cafeteria is an example of very bad taste in decoration.

Liked the lobby area with the singers especially Ron Moore and the Lido deck for the pool,slide and the food

We absolutely had wonderful service on the Valor. Our head waiter Paul, and his assistance's were beyond wonderful. The food was good as well as the entertainment. Thank-you for a nice cruise.

Don't miss the Comedy Club. Both the family and adult versions are great! Carnival offered excursions are very good. Grab a space on deck early on days at sea.

My understanding is the Valor is going to have a complete makeover in Mar 2016 so the ship may emerge with a new name like the Destiny - Sunshine did. If you looked hard enough you could find signs of wear, but this being our first time on the Valor the décor was all new to us and looked good.

Some of the decks are not fully passable so study a map beforehand to know when you need to go up or down to get from forward to aft.

Covered adult pool by the pizza bar great for R & R. Play cards at large tables in Rosie's restaurant. Grab a comfortable chair outside casino & listen or dance to the band playing every night.
