Bring a power strip because there is only one Outlet in the cabin. Make sure you understand when the cabin Stewart ask you about cleaning your room seems like they want you to pick day or night but we chose both. I enjoy the casino but the good slots are in the smoking section and I'm not a smoker. Don't forget to check out above the Lido deck there's a barbecue place with very good food. There's a staircase in the Lido dining area that takes you up there.

As long as you're there during the embarkation times don't worry about going for the earliest times. With the tie up we had a later scheduled time would have been better and if you get on earlier you're mostly sitting on the common decks and your cabin isn't available.

Look and read at the itinerary that they leave in your room everyday. Try all the different games and show that they offer. There is always something to do. Even relax time.

- Make sure to come to the 'Fire drill briefing' at the time suggested +/- 5 mts.,
This time, we had to wait for 30mts., or so on the deck outside (humid and hot - no air conditioning). It's very frustrating especially with the children. Or else, make the briefing in any restaurant with AC and then take the groups to their respective 'muster stations' in an orderly manner so that we are not frustrated with the heat and humidity waiting for the. people who are taking their own sweet time without time punctuality

Pack light. Have good walking shoes and a bathing suit! Soak up the sun as much as possible and HAVE FUN!! check out all the shows. There's always something for everyone.

Sail the Splendor and spend the extra for the balcony as we have done twice now. I highly recommend this as it is so worth it! I just wish people were more considerate of there neighbors is all! Nothing against Carnival Splendor though!
