This was my first time on the Splendor. The SPA people were great and included Charlene, Ricky, Terri and Fatima. The Dinning room serving staff was great and included Marcelo-Chile, Kenneth-Costa Rica, Jose-Honduras and Astini. The Cabin steward, Marc was awesome. The Casino staff was good especially Liza and Annamaria. Brendan the shopping expert was great and offered good advice. The art auction group of Jason, Eva & Kris were great to work with. The auctioneer was really not a people person, but he has a great team that offsets his lack of personality. Fun shops sales associate Elizabeth-Mexico was great to work with. The only thing about the cruise was that enough day light hours were not afforded the port of Curacao because we arrived in port at 130pm.

Will definitely do another crusie hoping to book for next year we did do the Sam hunt show which was well worth the money.the only complain was the flight down fronteir new seats are awful ,could relax at all!!!

We loved the Dive in Movies! It was a wonderful family vacation. The children LOVED Pizza Pirate and 24 hour ice cream ! ***************************************************

The food was great and there was plenty of it. There were plenty of activities to do on the ship and great entertainment. The only thing I would change is having more time on each island. There was so much to see and not enought time to see it all.

We're in 60's and cruise yearly.  Entertainment in lobby and rock shows at night were very well done (although I prefer older entertainment, shows, Broadway).  Trivia and game shows seemed old.  Food average or below.  Seemed like similar food and especially breakfasts regularly.   Crew excellent and very friendly.  Front desk not.

Liked Ocho Rios (Oceans 11 bar right off the ship on dock).  Cozumel boring, like going to a shopping mall.  Won't book another cruise with this as a port.

My favorite experience of the cruise was the food and entertainment. It was great. The worst was the circle C club for my kids. The director was rude and not enough organized activities. Was more like a hangout of which all the kids just created an alternate place to get together. The director seemed to dislike her job and the kids felt it.

The ports were excellent, food and entertainment was great. The line boarding and exiting the ship was long. Overall the cruise was worth it, I would do again.

Let's start with balcony cabin 8253: very spacious plenty of storage,flat screen tv  bed was very comfortable and cabin was very clean. Now the ship: its very pink in public areas mostly atrium and elevator areas but the ship is beautiful pictures don't do it justice casino seems to have very lose slots I did very well.the golden and black pearl restaurants are beautiful  and wait staff are excellent the grill by the pool offers hot dogs,hamburgs,and chicken sandwiches along with fries and several salad choices,the pizza next to pool is the best I've ever had on a ship.and the deli at the back of ship is also very good.broadway shows in main theatre are very good,Chloe's the cruise director is excellent.also I notice two things that really impressed me 1. The staff are very friendly and always say hello and 2. They were always cleaning no matter what part of the ship I was on very impressive. Now the bad: food in the Buffett was always cold and the free coffee is very bitter and strong I went to the coffee bar instead by the casino very good coffee.the wifi on there computers is like dial up but,if you get the app for your phone it's much better. All and all this was my first cruise with carnival and I have to say it won't be my last. Kudos to the staff of carnival splendor.

Thank you for great time to spent away with family and not to worry about practically anything. Awesome housekeeper-Putu is the best, had a great waiter-Ramil, he will take care of you. Chloe-activity director, looks like is up and running 24 hours a day.

Cynthia, our rep, is great! However, service was not great on this ship. It was much lower than the level of service I have received on any other ship and much lower than I expect from Carnival. Out rooms were not ready well after check in time (after 1:30pm). When we did arrive to the room the bathroom had not been cleaned and the refrigerator was filthy. Our shower was not draining properly, and even after requesting a plumber it still did not drain properly. There were days our room was not cleaned twice. I had to ask for towel animals on Day 3 after I realized not a single one had been left in our room. We rarely saw our room steward - so she made no effort to remember our names (which is unlike any of my other Carnival experiences). Service around the ship in general was sub par - especially at the buffet. Our dining staff was great. Also, because of the hurricane we had an itinerary change. We had excursions that were NOT booked through Carnival and we needed to alert them to our changes. The lines at the service desk were insane because everyone was making changes. I made a quick call from my room to alert my excursion people we would be arriving 2 days early. I was told to request a courtesy waiver or "credit" of the phone charges since it was due to the change in itenerary. After waiting in line 45min+ to try to have the charges waived....the service Representative refused to waive the charges and was very rude. These are just a few of the many service issues that stood out during our trip. I have always been pleased with Carnival's service. Not this trip.

For my very first cruise, here are my thoughts:

1. Food options in the dining area were limited. I ended up eating at the buffet everyday after the first 2 days.

2. Was totally unaware that even nonalcoholic beverages, such as juices had a cost.

3. There were a lot of activities (every minute of the day) to do on the ship and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

the favorite part was seeing different islands & their cultures. All were selling their wares to make a living. The food was delicious and plenty of it everywhere.  Good service in the dining room by all who worked.

Even though there was a storm following us, the captain gave us a different destination to enjoy, rather then an additional day at sea. The food was good, the drinks were boozey, and there was a lot of entertainment to enjoy.

The ship was great. It is an older ship but kept very clean and has all the emenities. There were a lot of entertaining things to do on board. The shows were my favorite thing to do on board. The food was good quality and tasted good. The staff and servers do an excellent job of taking care of you and serving you. The only thing that could be better would be some updated decor in the rooms and dining areas (only slightly outdated). Prices for drinks and drink packages were high as well. Overall a great experience.

For your information there was a cruise Sept18-24 that went out to Mexico, Cayman Islands,Jamaica & returned Miami. I was on that cruise with 3 other friends & had the most exciting & adventurous time in my life . We all enjoyed eveything they had to offer. 

Staff was very attentive to guest needs. Ship needs updating. General dining was better than dine in service. Duty free should stay open longer hours.

My wife and I took the six night Caribbean cruise and just got back. Grand cayman and Cozumel where great, we swam with dolphins and stingrays and it was awesome, although the pics where 140 usd for ten pics🤑.  The shopping in Cozumel was awesome as well. That's the good.

Heres the bad, if you value the safety and well being of you and your family don't step foot on Jamaican soil. The nicer people where just pushy as hell and the not so nice will drive you into the mountains and threaten your life for a hundred dollars. Every story we heard on the boat after Jamaica was similar to this! I couldn't believe we were dropped off in a violent third world county with no warning from the crew or anyone else for that matter!

On the boat we where treated to long lines and pushy rude people, the buffet was mediocre and closed most of the time, the meals in the "included" restaurant some nights where good and some bad. As well as the fact that if you wanted lobster or steak it was 20 usd extra.

Dirty pools and hot tubes where the norm. At every turn you will be conned into something with extra cost. If it says free gift never fall for that, we got the "free" coupon books for the low price of fifty usd that we didn't find out about till later.

in conclusion this was our first and most definitely last experience with carnival  and smart money will follow our lead!

was the destinations, only wish could stay a little longer in Jamaica, the other stops were great, the cruise and employees were always there, the hospitality was fantastic, In addition we wanted to use cash as a backup

I had a great time. I would have enjoyed more activities on the ship during the sea days. There were shows going on but not that I was interested in. If I was to do this again I will just get a regular room because I didn't use the spa enough to cover the cost difference in my opinion. Overall we had fun and really enjoyed our excursions.
