Normandy dining was slow, food was pretty but lacked flavor. Steaks at David lacked flavor, were cook on a grill that was too hot so part of the outside was burnt. Freeport excursion are over crowded and over priced and crowded.

I only wish that I had not watched so many Youtube videos of the ship before going - kind of spoiled some of the surprise. Chances are, most of the videos of the Pride are before the renovation, but nonetheless just don't overdo it if you're a first time cruiser like me.

I thought it was very easy to get around on this ship. We have been on larger ships and you could get turned around very easily. My husband has a hard time walking so we rented a scooter which made easier for him and the staff on the ship were very helpful.

Dont go to the pool area at 1030 and expect to get the perfect spot by the pool. They fill up pretty quick but if you get out there before 9 you should get a nice spot.

Go to David's stake house that's were all the good food from the dinning hall went. Don't forget to bring $35 buck per person tho. Well the cruse line needs to make ends meet with the fuel pricing so hi. I Gus's a few million per cruse wasn't enough to fill the pockets.

Get to the Butterfly Lounge early to see the adult age comedian. This lounge fills up quickly. Lido deck is where things happen. Good walking track above the Lido Deck. 3.5 laps is a mile. Dining Hall had great food, only ate on the Lido deck once for dinner.

The selection of fresh fruits and vegetables was great! There was also always a heart healthy selection on lido deck and dining rooms.

Many different venues to enjoy different gendres of music, tour the ship and don't get pulled into the big events, they really aren't that entertaining

If your looking for a budget cruise this is it. Though don't expect much from this ship or cruise line. They lack in all areas. Stick with the deli food place. Hard to mess up a sandwich.

Bring card games to play with new friends. Thats about the only thing we found fun 99% of the time. We were left searching for things to do. Not a good vacation
