Make sure you check out what the theme will be for the dates you pick. Ours was old rock and roll. If anything I would have loved country or bluegrass or classical. I am not a rock and roll fan at all. So make sure the theme is what you like because that will be the music for their shows. I wish I thought of this.

Don’t miss the bars and the nightlife! If you’ve never cruised before, you’ll likely be satisfied. If you’ve been on Celebrity, NCL and Princess this will be a few steps down from your experience. Clientele is friendly but certainly not of the same standing as other cruise lines. The bars, shows, and live entertainment will be very enjoyable. Avoid the main dining unless you have to do so, take advantage of David’s and the sushi, they were great!

You dont need as many outfits and shoes as you think. Take something warm just in case. Bring meds for headache, constipation just in case needed. Room service is great, try it!

Be mindful that sodas and alcohol drinks are not included in the price. We are not big drinkers, nor are we soda drinkers so we did not spend a lot on alcohol. You can check how much you spend through the Carnival app and the ship has two kiosk were you can check. Use it so you don 't go over budget.
