Review summary

This was our first cruise. We went with a total of nine people. Four of us will never cruise again. We didn’t like the lines for food and the searching for tables to sit down it. Entertainment for adults was way too late in the evening. We missed a port because choppy waters. But the cruise line did NOTHINGS to make up for this.

Comedy shows we were able to go to were rated PG we saw three. Two not very good one good. Are rated comedy was too late in the evening for us to attend.

Main dining room wait staff was very good. Room steward was awesome. Cafeteria staff, not so great could’ve cleaned off the tables quicker. Felt they didn’t have enough cafeteria staff cleaning off tables.

The cabin met my expectations in every way. The steward kept our room spotless. And was never under foot.

Ship tip

If you like to chat with people you don’t know carnival pride would be great. Don’t rely on the ships entertainment to be entertained.

Baltimore, Maryland Did not visit port

We just drove down got onto the boat in Baltimore Maryland did not do any sightseeing.

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island) Did not visit port

Water was too choppy. So we did not stop at this port. Very very disappointed. Cruise line did not do anything to make up for this missed port!!!!!

Nassau, Bahamas

Did not do an excursion with his port. Just went to the Public beach. It was fun.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

We did an all exclusive excursion to a private beach. Wait staff was good,food was good. We picked out chairs and someone was there to get us a umbrella. Great relaxation!!!!

Disembarkation

Cruise line was supposed to announce by deck when it was your turn disembark. They never announced any decks

We only cruise Carnival. We’re doing our 13th and 14th next year. Sorry you didn’t Ike it, but cruising isn’t for everyone. Try one again someday, maybe another line.

We were on the same awesome cruise, we missed a port and received a few dollars for our troubles but we all lived to go on to the next cruise and many more after that.

When you book a cruise, you know ports can be missed. Never guaranteed, captain needs to keep you safe. Refund is not given for this.

I always have a great time! The only downer was the weather. Going out of Baltimore in Dec, first 3 days were cold and rainy and the waters were choppy. I wish there were more activities available for indoors on those predictable cold days.
