Review summary

I had a great time. I would do Carnival Pride again.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
The Baltimore Port employees are awesome. They made embarkation work like a well oiled machine.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The servers were awesome. Our breakfast in the main dining room was cold quite a few times. Dinner was much better. Guy's Burgers were really good. My sister got a taco bowl from Blue Iquana Cantina and said that the meat was ice cold. Not good.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We enjoyed trivia, bingo, ping-pong, the pool, and a cooking demonstration in the steakhouse.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The comedians were excellent, the musical shows were great. We loved the Cruise Director, Dr. E. He was so entertaining and personable. When he walked around the ship, he stopped and talked to everyone that would stop to talk with him. He was great with the children and babies.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
The servers in the main dining room were terrific. They are some hard working folks. Unfortunately, we met our room steward on day two. He said he would return with his business card and two extra pillows. We didn't see him again until day six. No card, no pillow.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Although it is an older ship, it was very clean. Our room was cleaned every evening and the balcony and balcony windows were cleaned while we were there.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The room had plenty of storage space for our clothes and suitcases. There were some stains on the carpet that someone may want to clean. The balcony was clean and we spent a few days out there enjoying the view.

Ship tip

Be mindful that sodas and alcohol drinks are not included in the price. We are not big drinkers, nor are we soda drinkers so we did not spend a lot on alcohol. You can check how much you spend through the Carnival app and the ship has two kiosk were you can check. Use it so you don 't go over budget.

Ports of call

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
Nice beach. There were some rocks on one part of the beach but someone pointed out another part of the beach that was rock free. The lunch on the beach was okay. Nothing fancy but if satisfied our hunger.

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Nice people and nice shops for souvenirs. We went to Paradise Island and the Atlantis Hotel. Beautiful to visit, way out of our price range.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

3 out of 5
Not much to see. We went to the vendors that were right off of the ship and came back on board.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Once we were called to disembark, it was smooth sailing. Took us about 20 minutes from the time we were called to disembark to get to our car.
