The food was very good and the variety was outstanding. The movies at the pool were great and a nice way to meet people. I especially enjoyed The Beach Boys concert and met some nice ladies there as a result.

Be sure to get a balcony - totally worth the extra money! The sunsets and sunrises are the most beautiful I have ever seen. Be sure to try a mango daiquiri - fantastic!

Choose a mid ship cabin if possible. It makes sailing a lot smoother and is central to everything. We do not think there is noticable noise even when near the elevators. We like both the inside and balcony cabins but a balcony is nice on a two week cruise.

You can walk end-to-end indoors without going through the Casino by staying on level 3. We avoided smoky areas that way.

If you can get a cabin mid ship and a balcony I would absolutely recommend it. This was our 3rd time on Carnival and will continue to ride the carnival line. The people are great, the staff is second to none!

Prepare for kitschy, prepare for dated, but prepare to have an excellent time! The Pride had everything that I love about cruising, and was casual during the day and (on the specific nights) elegant and glamorous. We often look back and comment on how amazing our honeymoon was, and we are so thankful to have gotten to experience the Carnival Pride!

As always, get to venues early, comedy, shows and quest especially since it fills up quickly. Get a room on deck 1 midship close to an elevator. Best location we had yet. Allowed us to get on and off the ship quickly at ports.
