Review summary

We had a very good time. Service was great in dining room and room steward. Buffet food just ok. Best food on Lido deck was Guy's Burger joint. Main dining room and steakhouse was very good. We enjoyed the comedians, but the production shows were just ok. Rooms need to be renovated.

Cabin / Stateroom

Could definitely use some renovation. Old tube TV that barely worked. Had to have door fixed because it was very hard to open. Old stained shower curtain that took 4 days to replace. Old blue formica counters in the bathroom. Bed was very comfortable.

Ship tip

Do NOT waste money on the wifi. It is completely worthless. Unplug and have a good time.

Ports of call

Baltimore, Maryland

Grand Turk Island

Don't spend money on an excursion. There is a FREE pool complex right off the ship at Margaritaville that is awesome and fun. The beach right there is also nice with free chairs and umbrellas.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

5 out of 5
One of the nicest beaches I have been to with beautiful clear water and super soft sand. Could definitely use more shade/umbrellas with the chairs.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

Not enough time in port.

The Pride is going into dry dock for 2 weeks in February 2019 for some refurbishing. I sail her in November of this year. Can't wait.

The Pride is going into drydock next year. Our cruise on the Pride is Feb 2020 and I can't wait. Have been on many Carnival ships, but not this one yet

I agree the pride needs a bit of a freshening but it's a great ship and fantastic crew. Leigh the cruise director was fantastic and the deck parties were a blast. Can't wait till we go back in may
