This ship is smaller than some of the newer ships, but there are a lot places to hang out . Take some time the first day to walk around check out the different areas...lounges, eating places, and the bars.

Arrive early or later for boarding the ship to avoid lines. Pick room in middle of the ship as you do not feel any movement.

Very convenient, and very well organized.

Set your expectations low as compared to other cruise lines.

Leaving out of Baltimore can get rocky. Be prepared with motion meds. Meds on board are costly
globird44
Make sure you read activities of the day so you do not miss anything

Go and enjoy yourself. Great cruise line

If you want a balcony think about the 7A obstructed view. The view is obstructed for looking down, but looking down is also obstructed from the floors above too. You have a balcony and save some money for something else.

Don't go during hurricane season
shgarner276
Did not travel during hurricane season.

Make the best of a vacation, have some respect for the crew. They were great.

Don't book in hurricane season!
gizmorip1
Don't do it. The beauty of The Pride is the ease of Baltimore. The terminial is not crowded and easy in and out. We have cancelled our 15 day cruise scheduled for November 2018. I cannot put myself through that long of a cruise with basically nothing to do at night. We don't gamble so all that is left is sitting at a bar, BORING.

Enjoy the best ship in the fleet, not too big, not too small and a very good captain that kept us safe in rough weather.
Viclyn79
Take Bonnie every morning if you need it or not...I did and never went green, our first few days were rough...Jose stirred up the ocean and it was choppy...remind you this was our first cruise.

Be prepared to spend quite a bit either way you decide to pay for alcohol.
