Review summary

The ship had plenty of things to do, however I didnt pay that price for the ports that we went to. I could've driven to Charleston South Carolina. I Was not happy about that at all. Then we only had 4 hrs at Freeport(by the time we got off the ship) and Nassau was ok but not part of the cruise we booked!! Only Freeport was part of it. We were very disappointed.

If you contact Carnival and did put in a concern on Ship, At Service Desk, a credit for next Cruise can be given. Call.

Read the cruise contract. States itineraries are not set in stone.

I wouldn't even care where the ship went. I could stay on the ship the entire week and have a great time.

Good thing you did not live near Miami, drive to the port of Miami, go to Freeport and Nassau, then return to Miami and no car or home. You might then be VERY VERY disappointed.

that's good that you still had a good time. hopefully your next one will be better.

Thanks for the info..yes it was because of the hurricane. I have never been on a cruise. A large group of us went. A friend (who has been on numerous cruises) booked it for all of us. I voiced my opinion about it being "The season " but she has never had an issue with it. Alas, we booked it and I now have learned a lesson. We tried to make the best of it though and were pretty successful

was it because of the hurricane? if you book during hurricane season then you need to realize the ships don't control the weather, try booking from December to may
