The ship is very dated and you can tell it's the C level entertainment staff on board, but the itinerary is worth it. Just plan for your own entertainment onboard and wouldn't really recommend for young families, but it's clean and the food is good and the ports are must see places.

Overall we had a great time. We love Carnival and the itineraries they put together. The entertainment keeps you so youre never bored. The casino has plenty of machines to play. Our only issue was the food could have been better. It is something we look forward to the most and this was a big let down,

I just returned back to the USA from the United Kingdom on the Carnival Pride. The ship broke down shortly roughly one hour from departing Kiel, Germany. GPS coordinates We just broken down somewhere in the Baltic sea. Our last coordinates 54°36.95' N 010° 08' E with a course heading 321° speed 0.1 kts. Carnival Pride attempted to make the repairs at the mentioned coordinates (middle of the Baltic sea) for 24 hours set draft during the evening hours on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. Carnival Pride was set to embark to Sweden (Goteborg). Carnival Pride failed attempts to make repairs. The Germany officials (Kiel) towed the Pride vessel back to Germany. Carnival in a short turn around period managed to shuttle some 1200 passengers from Kiel, Germany back to the UK. Carnival promised to put guest up in hotels and to provide transportation from Stansted London Airport to the hotel closest to get our previous scheduled departure flights. We'll, Carnival dropped the ball on transportation from Stansted London Airport to our hotel (London Heathrow Airport Hotel). This left many frustrating passengers now stuck with making arrangements to get over to the hotel. Keeping this matter in prospective, it is now July 21, 2023 in the early morning hours at Stansted London Airport. My son and I traveled by Uber to the Heathrow Airport Hotel which was a two hours drive. To say the least that the hotel was a "zoo" as many others from the Carnival Pride ship started arriving. Carnival Pride offered the guest many of the perks such as basic free wi-fi, prorated one-day refund, and 25% future cruise credit. Other items Carnival Pride extended other deals such as not adding gratuities from Thursday forward. Gratuities is the subject of discussion for another day. In short, 24 hours before leaving the ship, simply request to have all your gratuities removed from your Sign-n-Sail account. I say all this because from a risk management experience Carnival did a damn fine job addressing the risk assessment while keeping the focus on customer satisfaction. Carnival Pride receives a (F) grade for not keeping to their commitment to transportation from the airport to the hotels.

Not a high-end experience. Long wait times at the dining room. Service and food was hit or miss.

Getting on and off the ship was surprisingly smooth. We booked a balcony cabin due to our interest in observing the Fjords. However to our disappointment, the arrival to a port of call 100+ miles in the fjord was at 7-8am, so we did not see the fjords in the mornings. Just in the afternoon when leaving the fjords - so we kind of missed half of the experience. The ports of call in the fjords did not have much to offer, so we (and many other passengers we talked to) would have preferred a much later arrival so we could have enjoyed the views of one side of the Fjords in the mornings an the other side in the afternoon. The ship is old however it is in a decent shape, well maintained. Don't expect any super-modem amenities however they do offer internet for a fee. Main dining room water was excellent, the food was very good as well.

I think this cruise would have been awesome if just a few things were fixed/addressed. In addition it would also be great if we could have more time in port. Usually when we arrived the towns were not open yet. We would get off around 8 but the businesses didn’t open up until 10. Then we would need to be back on board around 4. So this meant you were having to make plans around 3 so that you could ensure transportation back to the ship.

The comedy show was great. The food was excellent. The cruise in a whole was great.

Bucket list check off, the Panama Canal. It was everything that I expected. Loved it.

We have cruised with Carnival around 12 times. We booked this cruise because of price and length. Ship was OK. Great cruise director, Frankie. Carnival seems to have cut back on service, food, and quality of entertainment since we first started cruising with them 25 years ago. We think it is time for us to move on to a bit more upscale cruiselines.

Great overall trip. Would definitely sail this course or this ship again in the future.

We have been on Carnival pride before ,,love this smaller ship but even with being smaller there was lots to do . We will be back for sure.

Carnival pride staff helped make our first cruise a memorable experience. The decor was beautiful. Liked different areas that you could sit and enjoy views and/or have a drink.

I wanted more information about the canal. Only information available was on loud speaker while going through the canal. Difficult to hear and understand.

This was only our second cruise, and our first in 23 years. Had a fantastic time. Thank you.

We enjoyed the entire cruise, especially the New Year's party. The ship and service were wonderful. The Alchemy Bar and the Caribbean duo were the bright spots for us. The smaller ship was nice and our cabin location was perfect for us. We were a little disappointed that the food, including the steakhouse, were good but not impressive. The only issue we had was with the CHAT app not working at least one of the days. We would highly recommend this cruise.

First time with carnival cruise. Wasn’t very enthusiastic about the ship itself. The adult area was over run with teenagers and entertainment was hit or miss. Can’t fault them for the weather but they need to upgrade their entertainment for days like that, trivia is cool but not hours on end of it.

Overall a nice experience with Carnival for our large party of 20. Nice value and wonderful ports on a shorter cruise. Food was above average and good variety.

Loved the Dr Seuss breakfast. Food was good but not as good as some other cruise lines. Room service was not that great.

The door was a big problem. Service was slow to respond and the problem was not remedied on the first.call.
