Review summary
Getting on and off the ship was surprisingly smooth. We booked a balcony cabin due to our interest in observing the Fjords. However to our disappointment, the arrival to a port of call 100+ miles in the fjord was at 7-8am, so we did not see the fjords in the mornings. Just in the afternoon when leaving the fjords - so we kind of missed half of the experience. The ports of call in the fjords did not have much to offer, so we (and many other passengers we talked to) would have preferred a much later arrival so we could have enjoyed the views of one side of the Fjords in the mornings an the other side in the afternoon. The ship is old however it is in a decent shape, well maintained. Don't expect any super-modem amenities however they do offer internet for a fee. Main dining room water was excellent, the food was very good as well.Embarkation
