We really appreciated the low prices they offered the other food in other areas, Pig & Anchor and The Seafood Shack. Made it a possible to eat there more.

There is a small buffet in the Ocean Plaza area that serves up a different selection of food than they do on the Lido deck. It's worth walking by to see what they're serving.

If you are unvaccinated make sure to bring lots of things to keep you busy since you can’t disembark in Mexico

Ask more questions, the people we talked to prior left out important details that would have made us reconsider cruising with an unvaccinated 3 year old (for example only can leave ship on bubble tours)

I would bring ear plugs. The windy caused our balcony door to creek on the sail away night and the night back to Long Beach. Only complaint about the whole trip

Won’t be doing a carnival cruise anytime soon. The hidden charge on the covid testing was bogus. I did the testing prior like asked to them I get charged to get tested again?

Don’t expect the same food or entertainment experience as you had prior to Covid. It’s great to cruise again thus we need to give the cruise lines a chance to recover.

Some venues charge at night but are free during the day. Take advantage of trying at lunch. Found out we could get Gelato daily for about 2 hours daily. Much better than soft serve.
