Review summary

It was our first west coast cruise and we enjoyed it very much. We are planning on going back and doing it again. We liked the Panorama. Very nice ship.

Embarkation

We arrived at 12:50 and there were only short lines for boarding if you had your Covid testing with you. If not, the lines for day of testing were outside the main building. We were on board by 1:30.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Food was typical Carnival food. No complaints. We ate in main dining room every night but one. Never ate at the buffet for lunch only breakfast. Did the sea day brunch twice.

Onboard Activities

Played bingo once and people watched on lido most other times. Shows were ok, seemed like they could have been 10-15 shorter in duration.

Disembarkation

Did platinum checked baggage and were off the ship and on airport transfer in 20 minutes. We did have to spend a few extra minutes looking for our luggage as it was in a “secondary” storage area and not in the area it was supposed to be in.

Thanks for your review. Glad you had fun. We had this booked for March 14th 2020 and was called 8pm the evening before staying the cruise was canceled. Such a bummer but kinda understood. Now we are doing a back to back Jan8th and Jan15th. So excited to get back to cruising. It's our favorite way to vacation.
