Enjoyed seeing a new ship with different decor. Loved the call for buttons for elevators.

Embarkation

Worst embarkation, and I've been to this port multiple times. Arrived 5 minutes after start of our scheduled boarding time. There was a LONG line just standing in que. I went to the front, where a sign stated to wait in line if arriving before boarding time. We tried to show the port staff or boarding pass. The lady informed us we had to wait in line. We informed her we boarding at 12:30p. She advised us it didn't matter and to get in line because we were all boarding at the same time.

All waiters, room steward and other staff were friendly.

Ship had a more formal feel and less glitzy feel. The most formal looking MDR of all ships we have been.

Cabin / Stateroom

First time in an inside cabin. It was larger than expected. We missed the sofa and less closet space. However, great price and I would consider an inside cabin again.

Ship tip

Some venues charge at night but are free during the day. Take advantage of trying at lunch. Found out we could get Gelato daily for about 2 hours daily. Much better than soft serve.

Thank you for the review. We were on this cruise Dec 4th. Agree with you on the embarking, as we have been on nine previous cruises out of that port and on 12/4 it was a TERRIBLE experience. Why give you a boarding time to stand in a LONG line (almost at the Queen Mary) with everyone. I am sure it will get better by the time we go back for our annual New Years Eve cruise.
