Wrong itinerary to start. Was suppose to be Cabo, Mazatlan and then Puerto Vallarta. Turned out to be just he opposite arrival in ports. Also, this was a party ship and was for young adults and not seniors.

We sail Carnival for the demographic. We are in our late 50's. I don't like the pretentious, judgemental people on other lines. To each their own.

Not just holland but celebrity on a Hawaiian itinerary is for you, maybe. I did that cruise and it was mostly seniors and seniors activities. Carnival is for fun and for families

Lol everybody knows carnival is fun ship..

Glad to hear it’s the party fun ship. Looking forward to our next trip, my wife and I are 60 so I think we’re close to seniors. Thanks for the review, don’t think the reversed itinerary change would even go through my mind. We have been on Holland and that sounds more for you in my opinion.

It helps to do research before you book. Not only would you have seen that the Carnival line is the party or "fun" ships, but also the booking certains rooms are guaranteed to be noisier than others. It's a shame you want the entire line to change because youade a bad choice. HOLLAND or Princess or at least half a dozen others sound like they are more your speed. Not all seniors are ready for quiet and sedate

May I suggest using the adults only Serenity Area. You will not find children in there. Or perhaps the Havana area on the ship. No one under 12 allowed. It It is rather pricey and you won't see many older kids there

If you are a “senior with money”, try Oceania, Regent Seven Seas, Seabourn, Viking, Silversea or Oceania. If you are a “senior with less money”, try Holland America, Princess, Azamara or Celebrity.

Keep trying other cruise lines until you find one that fits you and your budget

Sorry your vacation was a disappointment. Hope your next travel adventure is better for you.

A cruise is what you make of it. We do not drink, do not ‘party’, are over 65, and had a great time overall on the Panorama. We also did some intelligent research and did not take a room near noise areas, even though we were unilaterally ‘upgraded’ to a bad room, they moved us to a quiet one. But, probably not for you. Holland instead?

Appreciate your feedback. Perhaps you are correct, Carnival is not for you. Isn’t it wonderful that you have choices?!?

I’m sorry you did not enjoy your cruise.

Carnival has always been known as a party ship. I'm sorry you had a miserable time.
