Review summary

Only our second cruise but we are hooked. The Panorama and the Horizon (our first cruise) are great ships. Not sure I’d want to do anything smaller at this point. Lol

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Everything was great. Only the scrambled eggs at the buffet were questionable. Too wet. :)

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Didn’t utilize the pools or fitness areas but appreciated seeing how they were keeping these areas clean. Hard to get time in the hot tubs as they get crowded and the same people tend to spend more time then necessary.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Really enjoyed the comedy and the Liquid Lounge productions.

Service and Staff

These people are amazing. Shouts out to I Ketut our room steward and Danilo at the Pig and Anchor bar. My husband and his brother truly enjoyed Danilo’s drink “The Cuban”!

Perfect. Love the balcony cabins.

Ports of call

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Beautiful place. Husband did the catamaran and snorkel excursion. Really enjoyed it. I did a local water taxi with sister-in-law and got a nice tour from the water. Met a very nice couple who translated for us. Spent about an hour on Lover’s Beach. So beautiful.

Mazatlan, Mexico

Did the Hop On Hop Off bus. Was nice to actually see the town and hear about the things they are proud of. Cliff divers are putting their lives in the line for a few dollars. Crazy.

Long Beach (Los Angeles), California

Nice quiet town.

Glad you are hooked! For my wife and I, we love the large ships, and we love the smallest ships as well ! Fantasy Class ships(Carnival’s smallest) certainly have advantages that we like… Look for the good and enjoy them all…

Ship size is a personal preference. Also cruise days vs port days. Thanks for the review.

Always go bigger.. but some of the older smaller ships hit some different islands that big ones don't hit.. 🙂 there's be 3 new ships by 2023..
