Enjoyable cruise to the Mexican Riviera by LisaKitty

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Carnival Panorama

This cruise was a lot of fun, and I highly recommend it to anyone. The ship is beautiful and well maintained, the crew lovely, and the ports beautiful. If you bring your patience for the occasional long wait for service or embarkation/disembarking, and have a plan for what shows you want to see, and activities you want to do, you'll have a great time.

Fun cruise with 6 couples. That was new. We usually travel alone as a couple or with one other couple. Great ports. Great food. Great cruise.

EXPECTED MORE FOR A FAMILY CRUISE/ POOLS TOO SMALL ONLT 2 JACCUZI SUPER SMALL by alexmontoya032

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Panorama

This boat is not for smaller children activities are aimed for teens and grown ups. 2 Pools and 2 Jacuzzis they are too small all you saw were the smaller kids and teens in there. Smaller kids mostly causing mayhem, not very enjoyable for adults if you ask me. Water was definitely dirty the whole time we were there only got in 2 to jacuzzi to over packed.

Fun Ports - Lots of kids (teens) during Spring Break by JohnnyFive

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Carnival Panorama

Fun, but way to many kids and family's- if you have kids you will love it - if your a single or couple / friends wait till kids are back in school. Hard to find a lounger on sea days in the mornings - people leave their stuff on loungers go eat lunch and come back hours later. Over all fun, but just was not my kind of crowd, I like to cuise with 85% plus adults over 18.

Beautiful ship and itinerary by PainInTheBoat

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Panorama

A couple tips - the disembarkation line was very easy with a passport. Getting off without a passport had a HUGE line that looked like it took hours. Also, if you are ubering to/from the port, it can be dicey. We stayed in Long Beach the night before and had an Uber scheduled to the port on the morning of for a few weeks prior. The Uber cancelled the morning of and then several other drivers cancelled after accepting when seeing we were going to port (on both Uber and Lyft). Then, after getting off the ship, it took us about an hour to finally get a ride and we had multiple people in our small group on both apps seeking a driver.

Family Harbor Cabin 2462 by pollyann

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Carnival Panorama

I enjoyed every port and the option to follow the blue line in Mazatlan and walk through the neighborhoods. Plenary of personnel to answer questions and guide you. Your safe and there’s plenty to see . It’s about a 20 minute walk .

Mexican Riviera by tamiedarr

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Panorama

Nice cruise but very crowded. All the staff is great. Take in as many shows as you can cause they’re all great! Ate most meals in the main dining room cause buffet was always very crowded. Not many quite spots. Sign up for excursions early if you want them, all the good ones were sold out by the time we boarded.

We love Cruising this was the first time on the Panorama hope to return again. Our weather was cooler than expected but that’s the way it goes, cooler in California & Mexico than usual.

Lost all family photos/no warning by Hansen87

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Panorama / Destination: Mexico

Just got done with a 7 day cruise and got off the ship today. I didn't realize that if you don't purchase the photo package while on the ship, all your precious photos are deleted and you have no chance to do so. You would think with all the messages they give out on the intercom and the papers they send to the room with info, they would atleast warn guests that they need to purchase the photos before getting off the ship. Now what should have been a really fun day after an awesome week of family time has turned into heartbreak. I've been trying to contact them for hours and no one can help me so my whole experience has been ruined as I'm just so upset I lost all those cute family photos of my kids and i that I wanted to purchase. Hope this reviews helps someone else to not make the same mistake I made in thinking you could get your photos at the end.

Cheap Mexican Cruise by abominab

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Panorama

I honestly didn't really love the itinerary. It was a great price which is the only reason we went but I won't go again. Each of the stops seemed like dives. The caribbean is much better. The ship wasn't bad but not a destination in and of itself.

Cox Family Cruise by captaindancox

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Panorama

The cruise was a lot of fun. It had something for everyone in our group. If I had to say something negative, the ship felt crowded. We were concerned about a January sailing and cold weather, but we did most ship activities on the first and last day, and enjoyed the weather the other days.

Free drinks for me and my companion, platinum status the entire cruise, free room service, gifts in the room, free casino play, got invited to exclusive parties with food and drinks where you did it have to swipe your card! Many perks. Oh free laundry! Loved it. Deff recommend.
