Fun cruise with 6 couples. That was new. We usually travel alone as a couple or with one other couple. Great ports. Great food. Great cruise.

We know the drill in Long Beach. Arrive just after your scheduled check in time and walk right in.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We like the main dining room and using the app when ready to eat. Food was over all great. Long lines at deli. Pizza is amazing.

Havana Bar & Pool

5 out of 5

Did not stay in a Havana cabin, but loved the bar atmosphere and had drinks there a few times.

Cucina del Capitano

Entertainment

Comedians were not all great. Two were. Two were not. That was a surprise. Usually comedy is the best! Love and Marriage Show fabulous as always. Deal or No deal hilarious. Stage shows were not so great on this cruise. The Broadway one was awful. We had to walk out.

Cabin / Stateroom

Mid-forward Starboard side deck 7 balcony. Great cabin. Liked the layout. No complaints.

Ship tip

Guys Pig and Anchor BBQ is open for a buffet lunch on embarkation day and sea days for no charge. It was quieter up there than anyplace else. Great brisket. If you like BBQ this is the perfect place to eat lunch. The Quattro Formagio pizza is amazing. Use the hub app to let them know you want a table for dinner. No waiting around. They'll buzz you when it's ready and you go. Deck 5 forward has a door that says Lanai on it. Comfy loungers out there and almost no people. More quiet than Serenity deck.

Disembarkation

I never have an issue. We eat breakfast in the dining room. Get back to cabin at 8:15. Grab our last bag. We always leave bags out night before. Why people want to lug everything up an down stairs always amazes me. Sat out on deck 5 Lanai and waited for our group to be called. We always take the last group tags. Grab a porter in terminal. Walk out. Done.
