As stated, highly recommend the ports. Very disappointed with the ship. The ship is old, not well maintained, needs to be refurbished and maintenance issues need to be addressed/repaired.

Had a wonderful time, and if this isn't long enough that's too bad

We met friends for a Christmas Cruise and had a great time....We love the MIRACLE

I love this ship! This is our second cruise on the Miracle (first in 2006) and it was just as wonderful as the first time. Carnival staff continues to be amazing. The food and service were wonderful.

Very disappointed by the the quality of Carnival. It's gone downhill over the years. The weather delay that impacted our return to Tampa was unfortunate but it was compounded by the lack of communication by the ship staff.

Great overall cruise. Smaller ship that was jammed to capacity (2600 vs. usual crowd of 2200) but didn't feel crowded at all. Older ship that has a few blemishes but crew takes really good care of it.

The ship's crew and the privately booked tours were the highlights, made our vacation a time to remember.

Great ports on this trip. Almost got off before we sailed when an officer interrupted the muster/safety briefing in Tampa! No concern for handicapped passengers! Also had a loud explosion while tendered in Belize. Lots of smoke coming out of the stack so something exploded in the engine room. Everyone acted like nothing happened even though they gave the emergency warnings and the fire crews were scrambling in their gear. Not cool to just cover this up - they should have been upfront. All the passengers which got off early were gone when this happened and they didn't even know about it! We really enjoyed the ports on this trip, the food, and the service. However, not sure I'd sail on this ship or any Carnival ship again when they have absolutely no concern for passenger safety or the handicapped passengers! I guess cruise at your own risk!

Costa Maya was a Port of Call not listed in my choices on this review. We took a cab into town for lunch and felt perfectly safe. They have a lovely port there too. Would like to return.

We visited these ports before on another ship. We did excursion then, however, this time we were able to spent some time in port.

This was our first Carnival cruise, but our 3rd cruise together and my 7th cruise in general. If you are expecting it to be like RCL or Celebrity - it's not - but that was ok with us. This ship seemed to have less employees on the ship - so don't expected to be waited on hand and foot. The food was ok, the variety of food selections were not as abundant as the other ships I've been on. The employees were nice and all in all our experience was good. The seas kicked up when the ship tried to go to Grand Cayman, so we were not allowed into port. This high seas issue was also noted on the ship, as some people felt the sway of the ship more than others. The lack of port also caused what seemed to be a huge overcrowding in the lunch area on the ship. It was hard to find a place to sit down at times. We did have some really super nice employees though. The entire bar at Alchemy was awesome, as was the Sports bar bartenders. I also thought we had the nicest stateroom attendant. If you are looking for a first time cruise experience, this might not be it, but it's definitely an option if you need a decent quick getaway for a week!

Ports were mostly good with a couple exceptions where locals were constantly harassing you and it made us feel intimidated.

As an over 60 cruiser, I felt very comfortable on this cruise, Most people were in their 50s and up. There was a minimum amount of drama. Even felt comfortable around the pool. I swam over 10 times. Exceptional staff.

The Steak house experience was a disaster and embarasment

Wonderful and attentive staff. Ship was obviously one of the oldest in the fleet and the decor mirrored that. Overlook that, and the cruise was excellent.

This was our first time cruising and the few problems we had, we consider to be learning experience and did not hamper our fun and enjoyment. We plan to cruise again!

We did not get the notification of the itinerary changes which in turn made all of our excursions incorrect. It took a long time to clear this up and we missed our first excursion, the best one, because of the mix up. Annette was extremely helpful in resolving the issues.

Dining room food and service far superior to buffets. However even in dining room, some food such as prime rib was poor. Four entertainment options were laughably bad. Show group choreography/talent, band in pub, solo guitarist, and piano bar were all horrid. Comedians were great, but many shows in the middle portion of the cruise were standing room only and required arrival at least 30 min before show time. Violin trio was amazing and provided many performances throughout the ship. My dinner mates suggested that the cleaning of the ship was lacking.

We had a great trip loaded with lots of fun and together time. Our cabin was a very nice and roomy balcony. Our waitstaff in the dining room and our room stewards were fantastic.
