Excellent staff, entertainment, shows, games, activities, and food..

Ship itself is older, kind of odd decor. Crew very nice. Cabin was bigger than expected. Food was ok, not great, not bad. Dinners were better. None of that really mattered to me though, im here for the destinations! They were great. I need to stay busy, so i was worried about cruising, but this was perfect! Most of our time was in port, how else can you see 4 countries in 4 days?

food was below average by cruise standards. Most of the food was overcooked and very dry. they had their moments, but overall I would not order those dishes in a restaurant.

My husband and I just came back from our 7 day Western Carribean cruise via Carnival Legend.  It was everything and more than what we expected.  From the moment we stepped on the boat until we stepped off the service was exemplary.  We have traveled a good bit and this is by far our VERY BEST travel experience.  The staff go over and beyond to ensure guests are accommodated in every way!!!!!

The ship was immaculate. My experiences with Carnival have always been exceptionally positive. The various programs were well planned and executed. The quality of these cruises is reflected in the behavior of the ships guests. People were happy, and that's a good sign.

clean , entertaing, fun

Just a few service glitches that were overcome quickly, probably a lauguage barrier that you would probably see on any cruise ship. The Belieze port was not that exciting, I would like to see them go somewhere else. However Isle Rotan and Grand Cayman were awesome! Service in the dining room sometimes a little slow. However if I had it to do over again, I would, these comments are just room for improvement, nothing major.

Ship came in hours late which left the four of us waiting at the airline terminal for hours with an extremely rude Carnival representative in the bus transport terminal and that was an understatement! When we transferred from the airport terminal to the bus they assured me that there would be a wheelchair waiting for me at the ship terminal when we arrived but there were none. When we arrived there none were in eyesite so we asked for assistance on locating one from the employees but were told by them that they sometimes had them and sometimes didn't, from there on it was down hill, lights burned out and missing in the entranceway of the ship ( mind you we were told by the Carnival employees that this ship had be all redone and updated and would be just marvelous) not...looked like and updated Wal-Mart. We went to the Purser's desk to report the wheel chair incident and were basically told that we were lying and from there it kept rolling downhill. Bad service if any, horrible food. and to make a very long story short they were hours late getting back into port which when we asked to get off early they told us we still had plenty of time and would have to get off with a later group. The four of us missed our flight which caused us to be without our medications and had to pay for staying at the Marriott at the airport, none of which was reinbursed...we had all the insurance we could buy for this trip. Complaints were made and filed with the ship and company, no response and no compensation! I would not recommend Carnival Cruise Lines for anyone, they in no way attempted to make the trip enjoyable..not even adequate service on the sundecks. If the thought ever comes into your mind just say NO! This was our 13th cruise with different lines, our favorites were Royal Caribbean and Celebrity. Remember, Carnival never made any attempt to resolve this, the other couple that travelled with us even had their tolit blow off the wall and they Downsized them to another room and did not offer any adjustments for their balcony room or any other types of benefits for their problems, didn't even want to assist in their moving from cabin to cabin. I have pages and pages of documents on this if the Carnival Cruise Line would try and get ahold of us since I have had no luck with gettin a response with them.  Ron and Patricia Walker

We would recommend it for a limited budget. We found the pool areas very small for the number of passengers. The serenity area was better than the other areas but we would call it semi-serene. Unless you were one of those who rose at 6 AM you couldn't get a seat. We were very pleased with the effort made to keep the ship clean and sanitary, especially for so many passengers to care for. It was hard to find a quiet area to enjoy.

We had a family group ranging from 2 years old to 65, and everyone had a great time. The staff were wonderful to us. Entertainment was great, particularly the comics. The food was surprisingly and consistently good. An excellent experience all around.

All I can say is WOW, I will book another cruise through skymiles, I received great service and got a great room for a great price.

Decor was a bit old & tacky - Las Vegas-like, but OK otherwise.

The ship is so dated that it made for a poor experience. Carpets were stained (not dirty), fixtures dated and gaudy. Many places on the ship were 10 degrees colder than others. Our stateroom was like a meat locker. We were told the ships AC was controlled by the engineers. We wore coats everywhere inside. The staff does a great job keeping such a worn ship clean and everything working.

Overall I liked the ship. I was set up just like the Carnival Pride so I knew where everthing was.

Lack of help from one Guest Services personnel and a huge lack of respect and pleasantness from same person. Absolutely no comparison with other cruise lines I have sailed.

Ship good , food c/plus, entertainment was great dancers and singers were excellent.   Good service,

The Ledgend was clean with friendly staff and a great ship to call home for a week.

Robbery on water. Never again!
