SHIP FROM HELL!

Ship came in hours late which left the four of us waiting at the airline terminal for hours with an extremely rude Carnival representative in the bus transport terminal and that was an understatement! When we transferred from the airport terminal to the bus they assured me that there would be a wheelchair waiting for me at the ship terminal when we arrived but there were none. When we arrived there none were in eyesite so we asked for assistance on locating one from the employees but were told by them that they sometimes had them and sometimes didn't, from there on it was down hill, lights burned out and missing in the entranceway of the ship ( mind you we were told by the Carnival employees that this ship had be all redone and updated and would be just marvelous) not...looked like and updated Wal-Mart. We went to the Purser's desk to report the wheel chair incident and were basically told that we were lying and from there it kept rolling downhill. Bad service if any, horrible food. and to make a very long story short they were hours late getting back into port which when we asked to get off early they told us we still had plenty of time and would have to get off with a later group. The four of us missed our flight which caused us to be without our medications and had to pay for staying at the Marriott at the airport, none of which was reinbursed...we had all the insurance we could buy for this trip. Complaints were made and filed with the ship and company, no response and no compensation! I would not recommend Carnival Cruise Lines for anyone, they in no way attempted to make the trip enjoyable..not even adequate service on the sundecks. If the thought ever comes into your mind just say NO! This was our 13th cruise with different lines, our favorites were Royal Caribbean and Celebrity. Remember, Carnival never made any attempt to resolve this, the other couple that travelled with us even had their tolit blow off the wall and they Downsized them to another room and did not offer any adjustments for their balcony room or any other types of benefits for their problems, didn't even want to assist in their moving from cabin to cabin. I have pages and pages of documents on this if the Carnival Cruise Line would try and get ahold of us since I have had no luck with gettin a response with them.  Ron and Patricia Walker

Bad, not hot when it should be or cold when it should be. Fruit and salads we not fresh and tasted horrible.

We seemed to always go in the backdoor and the poor sides, never had this happen with any of the cruises that we have been on before.

Delays at the airport terminal due to ship coming in late...hot, rude service in bus terminal bu older woman, getting gassed out by fumes.
Cozumel, Mexico
Backdoor entrance.
Belize City, Belize
Horrible, couldn't get off the little pier, employees said it wasn't safe to go beyond the barbed wire into the town.
Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
Very limited area, skylift went to the beach but you had to walk back.
George Town, Grand Cayman
We have been to many of these places before and never had a problem, I don't know if you are just not allowed to port where the other ships are but we couldn't even reconize we were in Grand Caymen, so sad, four people that are regular cruisers were so disappointed and never had the situation addressed or compensated for.. let alone the extra costs for Hotels and meals and meds.

Tip

Start over! Get Management in that know quality and cleanliness and can train employees. Make sure your entrance way is clean and your Chandeliers are clean and have all lights in and lit up. Customer service desk that does not ( basically call the client a liar) after going to the Mangers office.
