We were very impressed with the quality of the rooms, the exceptional service of the staff at every level, the wonderful food available from hot dogs to sushi and everything inbetween, great atmosphere and entertainment.

CLEAN BUT GAUDY FOOD GOOD SERVICE VERY GOOD

We have been on a number of cruises, including New Years, with several cruise lines. This was our first with Carnival. Generally we found the experience on the Legend to be pretty comparable to our previous experiences, which were on somewhat more expensive and sometimes more highly rated cruise lines. Our mini-suite was fabulous, and a very unique configuration at the back of the ship, with more room and a larger deck that we have ever had before. The Legend's midevil decor is wild and very destinctive. The swimming areas were never completely full...a first for us. The choices offered for both breakfast and lunch at the Lido buffet's were excellent. The captain's reception was the best we have attended, with excellent food and plenty to drink. The New Year's party around the pool was also extremely well done...and lots of fun. We enjoy the Casino, which is the biggest we have yet to experience. I wish our luck was better. We took advantage of the steak house option twice, which was excellent. The entertainment was similiar to prior experiences. As always, lots to do on the ship and ashore. We had one meal in the main dining room, where the steak was tough and full of grissle. This was our first meal ever on a cruise which was poor. However, all the other dinners in the main dining room were fine. Overall, this was a terrific cruise, and I would highly recommend the Legend to anyone.

The ship had everything we needed.

The ship was an older one but well maintained and the crew were generally pleasant. The only problem was once you declared that you were using cruise.com's tours they treated you with less respect and courtisey.

Beautiful ship with a lot of amenties. The staff took a little while to warm up but they were great once they did. The ship was very active. Kids and adults alike had lots to do while at sea and when we were at port the excursions had you busy the entire time. We came back on the ship exhausted from all the fun and adventure. We wanted just that.

Very nice ship. The Christmas decorations were beautiful. Ship layout was easy to get around.

I was impressed with the staff,especially our waitress Bojana from Bosnia and Steven from the phillipines (table 369)Also the photographer took alot of time with us getting a good picture,and our room stewart from Guyana kept our room very nice.(rm.1211). The music on the ship was very good we enjoyed the 3 music groups,especailly the big band and violin trio.The selection of food was excellent , and the quality was good and fresh.The salad bar was very varied with lots of options and good mesculin lettuce.I did not like the plastic coffee mugs in the colors,they reminded me of institutional ware.I missed not having the piano bar open.The last day the ships Dr. came on the T.V. and talked about the Noro virus,after we got off the ship that day and were at the airport,my husband became ill with all the symptoms.He was checked out by paramedics and they said it was the virus. We had to delay our trip home. The day before we disembarked I had a milder intestinal problem on board.We were aware and washed our hands frequently,but I don't think the sanitizer soap is effective against the virus. Yes, we liked the Sushi Bar alot,and high tea!!The broadway show of old broadway tunes was excellent as were the stage sets.

The ship was beautiful. The rooms were big. We had a balcony. I thought the food was generally below average. The Golden Fleece was excellent - worth the extra charge. The children's day care was awful. We usually do not use it all cruise long but we do use it for a couple of hours a day - not this cruise - we were not comfortable with their workers.

I had a wonderful time. My family also enjoyed themselves. We had dinner in the dining room every night and never had a single complaint. The service was remarkable, as well as our meals. There really wasn't anything to complain about.

The staff during the embarkcation was rude and unhelpful. The food was very disappointing. The buffet was not compariable to othe cruises. The bedding was awful. My brother's bed did not meet in the middle, there was about a three inch height difference and we were told they had no othe mattresses. The overall shows were mostley comedians and an awful Karoake show the last night. Excursions we had planned had been cancelled.

In overall the ship was nice.

I have cruised with Carnival (which is my favorite cruise line) several times. This cruise on the Legend was simply the best. You could plainly see that Carnival has cut back on it's staff, but this cruise was simply great in food, service, entertainment, and all other aspects of the cruise. The weather was great and ports were exciting. The only negative that I can think of was the smoking in the Sports Bar, There were cigar smokers in there constantly.

This is a beautiful ship. We have cruised on NCL and Disney. This ship was slightly larger than Disney. Good layout and very clean.

This was my first time having a baloncy room. I would highly recommend upgrading to one. It was the smaller baloncy that overlooked the life boats, but still had a beautiful view and plenty of room to sit back and watch the water and feel the the breeze. Our room was large with a pull out sofa and small table. The cabin stewart was outstanding, very friendly and he made sure the room was always clean and had a towel buddy waiting for us everynight. The ship's decor has a calming effect with the mauve and deep purple colors thru out. There were plenty of chairs on deck for sunning. The lines were short in the Lido dinning room and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only problem I had was fining the public restrooms at times. This was one of the best cruises I have taken and highly recommend the Legend.

We have been on Carnival before and knew what to expect. This is a wonderful cruise line. Everyone is wonderful to you. The food is exceptional. You are not wanting for anything at anytime. Being an older couple we did not partake in a lot of the activities and there are many. But there were many things set up for "us" in the afternoons that were so much fun. We absolutely fell over laughing at the newly-wed, older-wed game. The Cruise Director was fabulous negotiating the right answers to give the best laugh. All the shows were very commendable, comedians and music. There gazillions of shore excursions for the "young folk". We just toured the towns and were very happy with that. The room was just wonderful. The bed was a dream. We loved the balcony so much. We are plannning another trip this coming spring. We can't wait.

Smaller ship makes for easier access to all areas of the ship and it did not feel crowded. The exotic Western Caribbean itinerary was great. There was a large amount of visible rust on the exterior of the ship and the carpeting in the cabins and hallways was frayed and many areas had tears and holes. The large common areas were maintained well, however. The children enjoyed the miniature golf.
