A Must Do Cruise!!!

Sail Date: November 02, 2008

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Balcony

This was my first time having a baloncy room. I would highly recommend upgrading to one. It was the smaller baloncy that overlooked the life boats, but still had a beautiful view and plenty of room to sit back and watch the water and feel the the breeze. Our room was large with a pull out sofa and small table. The cabin stewart was outstanding, very friendly and he made sure the room was always clean and had a towel buddy waiting for us everynight. The ship's decor has a calming effect with the mauve and deep purple colors thru out.
There were plenty of chairs on deck for sunning. The lines were short in the Lido dinning room and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only problem I had was fining the public restrooms at times. This was one of the best cruises I have taken and highly recommend the Legend.

Pros: Having a Baloncy Room for the First Time

Cons: Rough seas from the hurricane

Recommends Carnival Legend? Yes!

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
They restruant by the pier was the best, local food (we shared a dish of fish and was still too much to eat) The people at the next table saw our lunch and ordered the same things, it was great and very reasonable. This was the first time I order a yard high drink! They will even bring your lunch to you on the beach.
Don't Miss: Visit the Restraunt by the pier
Cozumel, Mexico
UVAS Clear Kyake Tour. We did this on our own. They had a sign up at the entrance welcoming us! The taxie ride was $10 and entry fee $45 for Open Bar, Lunch and the Kyake Tour. When the ship's tour arrived they offered us the additional snorkel trip for no extra charge. The food was local and outsanding!!! You could even get a message for $1 a minute, what a deal!
Don't Miss: Clear Kyake Tour in UVAS
Belize City, Belize
If you want a relaxing day take this trip. Short tender ride, beautiful beach and great food! They even have a few small animals for you to see
Don't Miss: Private Beach Tour
George Town, Grand Cayman
The turtle farm tour is a must see!!! It is hands on, you are able to pick up and hold the turtles. Staff were friendly and very educational!
Don't Miss: Turtle Farm
