A small quantity of non-alcoholic beverages (i.e., sparkling water, sodas, juice, and milk) packaged in cans or cartons may be brought onboard on embarkation day and must be in the guest's carry-on luggage. A small quantity is a maximum of 12 sealed, unopened cans/cartons of 12 oz each per person.
Bring your own hand sanitizer and use often. The crew does a good job of keeping things clean for the most part, however the buffet is a free for all and not mandatory to use hand sanitizer before entering any food line like Princess cruise ships. There are some really disgusting people out there that think "their shit don't stink" and want to share their nasty, grimy germs!!
Other free (included food): Pig & Anchor: on Sea Days. Pig & Anchor also has fees on non-sea days and off lunch hours. Good Food though!!! Deck 11 for Capitana Italia and the Asian rest. for lunch (both included at lunch hours). For dinner you have to pay at these 2 places.
Long lines at the speciality eateries when the buffet is closed, if you want to try those make sure you do while other food options are open. Sometimes the line for pizza was 50 people long!
We did not like the way the elevators are set up. The floor was selected from the outside and mans sometimes several floors would be put on the same elevator leaving at least 3 elevators available. Needless to say we had to use the stairs quiet often.
Be prepared to have a shortage of closet and cabinet space. Ear plugs or some other way to dampen the noise level of the speakers on the ship...in our dining room it was so loud that we could barely make out the singing of our maitre de. Also due to a poor design the "Liquid Lounge" makes it difficult to enjoy the wonderful entertainment.
For your time dinning you are sent to another part of the ship to check in. And then sent to main dinning room. Little confusing since it was never explained to us
Aft deck pools and bars have fewer people using them. Plenty of room without the crowds. Smoking area on deck 11 aft has fewer users! Free lunch at Italian. Asian and Guys bbq the ship does not tell you about.
