Carnival Horizon

6 Night Western Caribbean (Miami Roundtrip)

Sail date: March 27, 2022

Ship: Carnival Horizon

Traveled as: Couple

Reviewed: 2 years ago

Review summary

Carnival are experts at making a good time. Younger crowd, busy, but new clean boat and great value if it comes in cheaper than other cruise lines. Free food options are less than say Royal, not classy either, but actually much tastier food than more expensive lines. They know how to make stuff delicious!

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

Hard to get a sunbed in the shade. Better than Princess Cay, way worse than Royal's Coco Cay.

Grand Turk Island

4 out of 5
They make a great beach to relax by the pier, but no city or culture to see.

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic

5 out of 5
Great by the port to relax and can also go into the city to explore.

Appreciate your feedback. Cruising during Spring Break will make the crowds large because more than 2/cabin is the norm.
