Order room service on Port days, Eat at Brunch dining times - better food & service than Buffet area - lines too long, food not as good i.e. no smoked salmon and Never had Sushi like before, now some dumb Taste Bar with 1 sample food selection at a time.

Carnival cruise lines permits passengers to carry onboard a reasonable amount of soft drinks. If you want diet deffeinated beverages, you won't find them on any ship. Bring your own if you are driving to the ship.

Opt for the open seating program; it gives you the most flexibility. If you are on this program, make friends with the dining staff early on, and you will not encounter any long waits.

Platinum dining room for breakfast if you want to sit down and eat normally. The buffet is nice but you stand in a line for 15 minutes before you get your food. Eat a taco and a burger and a pizza on Lido Go to Serenity to get away from small kids (never had to).

The restaurant on the 3rd floor is just great. Food on the 9th floor was not so good, and there were lines everywhere.
