never again by LauraB6

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Canada, New England, New York

The ship was a bit confusing to get around. To get to some places you had to go up a flight across the ship ad down a flight to get to where you wanted. The room however was surprisingly spacious and comfortable.

First time Carnival cruiser by JacquelineM5

Sail date: / Traveled as:
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Canada, New England, New York

There were not amenitites in the room such as hand cream, body lotion, etc. Though the room was kept clean, we never had any attention from the cabin steward. He never came to ask how things were.

Good Cruise by DougL3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Canada, New England, New York

Buffet food was only average. The steakhouse was excellent. Pizza was also good. The room was large and clean. It was noisy much of the time. Entertainment was OK. Ports of call were fun.

"Hated it" by JohnB20

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Canada, New England, New York

I liked the ship. It was big, it floated. It did not sink. I disliked being on board, captive, without any good food or entertainment. At this time I wondered if food in the Navy tasted this bad and wanted the whole event to over with. I almost decided to fly back home after visiting the last day in port. Also the memory of being trapped on the ship with little entertainment, bad food, deciding not to pay $24per hour for internet access, and disliking being tricked, $10 and $20 (forgetting the nickels and dimes) will probably get me to ever do this again. If you are already locked into going on one (which they do/ no refunds)... get some good books, research where you're going, make complaints while on board, and take as much food as you can with you.

A perfect first cruise! by AshleyJ1

Sail date: / Traveled as:
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Canada, New England, New York

This was our first cruise, and we cannot wait to cruise again with Carnival. The ship was in outstanding shape, and the whole crew kept it neat. The food was very good, and the entertainment was great all around the ship. We were amazed at the quality of performers. Hernando, our stateroom steward, was amazing, and our waiters Oliver and David were also very good to us!

We have been on several cruises and this cruise rates the lowest of any that we have been on. Second thoughts of ever cruising Carnival again.

Pretty decent cruise by Adam3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Canada, New England, New York

The ship itself was fine. Not so big that it was exhaustive to walk end to end, but big enough that there was plenty to do. The water slide on top was great and the miniature golf course was fun.

Oh Canada by Deniseg

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Canada, New England, New York

I was not really feeling this cruise as it approached because we were supposed to go to Mexico but that fell through. The night before we left I thought to myself that I was in it for the food. Let me tell you, I am glad my family talked me into going with them. Canada is so beautiful and clean. People are so nice that they stop you on the street to talk to you. One guy stopped me to tell me about a building across the street. He said that way back when the owner wanted to build it, city council was giving him a hard time. Finally when he did build it, he put faces on it, some animal and some that represent city council members. Refer to picture below.

The weather was beautiful. At the one shop we went a lady told us it had rained for days before we came. We had 2 days on land and they were both nice. The ship was clean, the crew was awesome and so was he food. I am really glad I went.

Dissapointed by RodrickS

I felt that this crew were not as acommidating as other ships we had been on. the quality of the food was very poor, too many saucy and rich foods.

We really liked the ship. However, we felt the lobby area was quite small.

Had a nice time by DawnB2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Canada, New England, New York

Had a very nice time. Room was nice and always clean, service in the dinning room was outstanding and the shows were good. I paid $150 for a spa treatment to relax and the whole time I could hear kids running around upstairs sounding like they were going to come through the ceiling. I think the picture are over priced, you would probably sell a lot more if you lower the price a little. Drinks are also over priced. I enjoyed the trip and would do it again, won't go to the spa if the camp is above it though.

A miserable cruise! by SarahS2

So sad very sad honeymoon trip. The ship was a tacky mess. Mirrors everywhere, ugly plastic fixtures, obscene carpeting with stains, etc. So many terrible smells.

Enjoyable, relaxing cruise by TomL5

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Canada, New England, New York

We had a great time on the cruise, although the weather was bad. We can't blame that on the cruise line. Avoid taking cruises to Canada in early June. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. The food was good, but not outstanding. Entertainment was good. There were enough activities to keep us busy and a lot of options for shore excursions.
