The ship itself was fine. Not so big that it was exhaustive to walk end to end, but big enough that there was plenty to do. The water slide on top was great and the miniature golf course was fun.

Steer clear of most of the desserts, especially the cheesecake. The night that they had the chocolate bar, however, was excellent. However, since you get as much as you want, just order another if you don't like it.

Not very impressed with the shows in the main auditorium. However, outside of those, everything was great. The highlight was the "close-up magician" who did magic tricks while a crowd surrounded him in a bar.

My wife and i were assigned a room with only bunk beds, so we had them switch that. Then in our next room, we had to have someone stop by to fix the shower and the toilet. But the rooms were more spacious than i anticipated.
Take it or leave it. We didn't do an excursion, so that might have made the town more interesting. It was a pretty small fishing village so it was fun to see what life is like there, but there aren't tons of things for tourists to do aside from shopping.
We loved this one! Don't bother with an excursion--just walk around. The public gardens are great, and free. Climb up to the citadel and just walk around outside it (also free) for great views of the city. Found some great local shops to enjoy. The people in Halifax were all friendly and pleasant. I'd definitely do this port again.
