First time Carnival cruiser

Sail Date: June 23, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Room Type: Balcony

There were not amenitites in the room such as hand cream, body lotion, etc. Though the room was kept clean, we never had any attention from the cabin steward. He never came to ask how things were.

Pros: the food was very good and so was the service

Cons: My husband and I had a balcony cabin. We have sailed on NCL, Royal Caribbean, Holland America, Celebrity and Princess. We always had a balcony cabin. Carnival was the only cruise line not to include any amenities in the room such as hand cream, hair conditioner, etc. The cabin was also smaller.

Recommends Carnival Glory? No.

Ship Quality
The ship was a little outdated.
Entertainment
Cabin / Stateroom
As I stated before, the room was smaller than other cruise lines we have been on. Lacking in amenities in the bathroom. Though it was kept clean
Food and Dining
The food at the restaurant and the buffet was very good. The attention in the restaurant was excellent.
Service and Staff
All of the staff with the exception of our room steward were excellent
Saint John, New Brunswick

Don't Miss: nothing
