Never again by Nyob

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Canada, New England, New York

Really bad experience. The food was dissapointing and kids were cannonballing on us in the hot tub. Our dinner order was lost one, night, we got kicked out of our seats during a Tea time, and the port of call was atrocious. Photographers stalked us in the entertainment and dining areas, and the drinks were very expensive. It was so bad that I cancelled the gratuity, and I am considered a generous tipper. Never again.

A Fantastic cruise by PennyC1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Canada, New England, New York

My boyfriend and I recently travelled on Carnival The Glory. The ship was a smaller than I expected. The ship's decor was bright, colorful cheerful, and laid back. The pools were a bit small for my taste. the variety of different food stations was unbelievable. The night club was actually up to date and lively with a great mixture of music. the comedy shows were also enjoyable.

Nova Scotia by MichelleZ3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Canada, New England, New York

Our impressions of the ship were good. We have sailed on Carnival before, and this was probably the best cruise of the three we have been on. There were plenty of activities for adults, and the kids really loved the water slide, the pools and the hot tubs. Our host for the ship was very informative, and kept everyone abreast of the upcoming activities and excursions avaiable for the travellers.

A good time and good value by ToddR1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Canada, New England, New York

Ship is quite large, but the layout is too confusing. To go to a specific place, sometimes you would have to go up or down a floor and then circle around before heading back up or down in order to get where you wanted to go. If that sounds confusing, imagine having to do it!

very disappointing by EileenS1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Canada, New England, New York

We never slept the whole 5 days due to the noise of our neighbors. They fought and shouted every night until the small hours of the morning. Due to this I would not be rushing back on a cruise ship again.

Everything was great except for the food by Az

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Canada, New England, New York

The cruise is great. The excursions are really good, but only for Halifax. If you are going to Saint John, dont buy them until you are at the port. that city gets sunshine only 20 days of the year. So check the weather before u buy. But do buy Halifax. And definitely visit Peggy's Cove. A lot of food, but 24hrs pizza and ice cream only. The buffet food is okay, not too many options and the quality is below to mid grade. But overall the cruise was great. The night live shows are excellent and one of a kind, so must watch those. We went on Carnival Glory.

A Relaxing Cruise by CF72499055

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Canada, New England, New York

I am very impressed with our waiters during dinner. The bar waiter provided a cup of cherries for my kids everyday. The table waiters kept my kids entertained. They even made origami animals for them every night. Our room was always neat and tidy everytime we went inside. The staff were all very nice and provided excellent service.

Ok for relax but still to improve by KwanyC

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group

Should have more difference kinds of food at deck 9,such at Chinese food. For the paper event list, better to have difference languages for difference passengers needed.

This was our second cruise and I would like to say the staff is exceptional. The cruise director was fascinating and very funny. The rocking was very minimal this time around.

A very nice cruise... by KerryB

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Canada, New England, New York

Took my mother, mother-in-law, daughter on this cruise. It was very nice- though the weather was still on the chilly side despite it being late June/early July. We never had a chance to wear shorts and though some people used the pool, it just seemed a bit too cold to swim or lay poolside. Ports of call okay- some excursions better than others. Tours of St John's a bit disappointing- Peggy's Cove was lovely.

Mediocre cruise by AdrienneD

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Canada, New England, New York

The ship overall, did not have the usual extreme friendliness that one comes to expect with a ships crew, although the dining room and cabin steward were great as always. The ship itself was not attractive to me in any way. Didn't care for the decor at all. Much preferred some of your other ships. Entertainment was so-so. The itinerary was poor because the weather in the N. Atlantic is not usually great and it certainly was not, although, of course, that is the nature of it and not the fault of the cruise line. Overall, having traveled worldwide, and taking a Mediterranean cruise last summer, I guess we made a poor choice in choosing Canada -just too 'ho-hum' for us but OK for novices and young families. Just seems it would make a better driving trip. This is not the fault of the cruise line either in any way, but having done many warm weather cruises and and 3 northern ones including this one, AK and Scandinavia, I realize cold weather cruising just doesn't do it for me. Someone else will have the reverse opinion I am sure, so it is 'to each his own'.
