Had an amazing trip! by BrittanyStaff

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

The ship was absolutely beautiful and was decorated very nicely. Everything on the ship was easy to find and all the staff was very friendly. It had rained a lot during our trip but they added things to do indoors which was great and made for a good day despite the rain.

Everything was wonderful on board. The ship was kept very clean and the staff and crew went out of their way to ensure that we always had what we needed. The shows and acts were well done and entertaining! Something for everyone!

I'm ready to do it all again! by LaurieG4

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

I thought the crew and everyone taking care of you as a guest were professional, kind, friendly and always attentive and available. Everyone treated us as we were important VIPs if you will. Everything could NOT have been better, more enjoyable or exciting. Our room was gorgeous, our balcony something I wouldn't do a cruise without no matter the inexpensive cost, it was awesome!

They want all of your money and will do everything they can to get it. We also went during rain season, so we got rained out.

Good, but some disappointments by ChristinaC2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

The Glory is still a nice ship. It's large and still impressive, although starting to show some signs of wear here and there. As with all Carnival ships, they cram a lot of people on board giving the cruise a more crowded feel and resulting in some time waiting in lines here and there. It's also loud A LOT with blaring music almost all over the ship. It's difficult to get away from the noise and find a tranquil place to relax outside of your cabin. This, for me, is one of the biggest cons to the Carnival ships. That said, they are the "FUN" ships and are known for being more party oriented, so this is to be expected to an extent. I just think that my husband (49) and I (38) are starting to outgrow the Carnival line a little bit as some peace and quiet now and again are becoming more of a desire for us. Hearing the news blaring on the big screen TV up on the Lido deck during morning breakfast is not something I desire either. Getting away from all, to include not having to listen to all of the woes in the world, is part of the reason I vacation, but that might be something others would enjoy.

Terrible experience! by JanineR52421808

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple

The ship was massive in size and the overall decor was great. I had no complaints regarding the look and feel of the ship. Rooms were extremely clean and the public areas were great as well.

Great Cruise by BobK5

Sail date: /
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Western

the ship and crew were great. However, the buffet was a disaster - food was bland and options limited. The staff and 007 were outstanding and we really enjoyed them. TheEmeralad Steakhouse staff and meals were out of this world!

Cruising the Western Carribean by KenW565540829

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Western

The ship was virtually identical to the Conquest - the ship we had on our first cruise. It is a top notch cruise ship. My biggest problem was with the fact that they allowed young children to roam around in the Casino on several nights, in spite of many signs to the contrary. The crew never said anything to the parents, even though they were fine with the kids dancing to the tunes on the dance floor - there are many other places on the ship for this, and it was most annoying.

Nice time with family by ChrisV2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The ship was physically very appealing, with a nice ambience, but the prices of beverages was ridiculous, especially given the price of the cruise. I found the food to be good, not excellent, especially the quality of the meats. Also, I found the constant barrage of photographers to be more than a little annoying.

Perfect vacation by Sherry3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Great value . We have cruised 6 times this time we stayed on first floor with oceanview. Great space and value -would consider again. Usually we stay in larger rooms and/or with balcony. Great kids program. Adult shows appeared a little unorganized compared to other ship programs. Loved the adult only Serenity section - perfect!! Loved all ports, with the exception of San Juan, but we like quiet beaches. Wish we were still sailing. cant wait to go back

Great time by Sherry3

Sail date: /
Ship: Carnival Glory / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Great time and excellent port schedule. Not crazy about San Juan though - we like quiet beaches. Camp Carnival fantastic - by mid week our 9 year old son and 13 year old daughter had met several new friends. the 9-11 year old program was perfect for our son, kept him busy and flexible as he averaged about 2 hours at night in the program. Great ship for the value.
