Omelette station can make you some over easy eggs if you don’t want scrambled or omelets. If the buffet line is long, go to the deli because it’s a mini omelette station.

Be aware...if you happen to travel with debit cards and go to Guest Services during the cruise to "change" a debit card for another, know that Carnival will place a HOLD on BOTH debit cards!!! I was NOT informed of this at the time. As for the Freedom specifically, GO TO THE PRODUCTION SHOWS. The Troup is fantastic. You will experience the BEST Cruise Director CCL has with TJ. If he is hosting an activity....GO. You'll have a good time. He keeps the crowd going!!

Don't rate Carnival on this ship. It's old and had some issues. Try newer ships along with this one. You make your cruise good or bad. Don't knit pick everything.

Eat at the main dining room each evening. It is fun and the food is amazing. Also, the dress changes each evening from dinner attire, to cruise elegant, to casual.

Hot tubs need to be hot because that is why you get into them to be hot on a bad back/ not freezing cold

Take advantage of bringing sodas and wine as allowed and take advantage of all the events you can.

Tip 1: if you’re like us and enjoy daily libations, but don’t drink enough to have the Cheers program be worth the cost then purchase your alcohol ahead of time from the online Fun Shop. While the cost of beer and liquor is still very expensive it will save you at least 30% per drink plus you’ll save on the individual gratuities that get added on to each drink purchase. Just make sure to bring along a large tumbler to take your drink out of the room as glass bottles are not allowed outdoors for obvious reasons.

I know they have to make money on the ship, but I hate that everything turn I take someone is trying to sell me something. I've already paid a high price for my room and I don't prefer to have to turn down one offer at least 3 times before they move on.
