We love cruises. We have sailed on Carnival three times now and the only complaint we ever had was the hotness of our room on our last cruise. You really do not need to leave the ship because the ship has everything you would want for a vacation. You have a variety of pools, places to eat, shopping, entertainment, dancing, different clubs. I recommend that everyone experience at least one cruise in their lifetime.

Food and Dining

We ate dinner in the main dining room each evening. Our service was amazing. Our waitress was very attentive and provided a personal touch to our dinners.
Onboard Activities

Fitness Center has updated machines and weights. My husband and I worked 5 days our of our 8 day cruise. We relaxed at the Serenity Pool for adults. Very calming. We also went dancing in one of the nightclubs and had a blast.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We went to a comedy show that had us laughing the entire performance. Our cruise director did a great job of organizing activities and keeping the entertainment upbeat.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our room steward was amazing and very attentive the entire cruise. He checked two to three times a day to make sure we did not need anything. Our wait staff was amazing. We loved our waitress, Chully. We can't say enough good things about Chully or our steward.

Everything was great with the room except that it was so hot. It made it very difficult to sleep. We went to the Bahamas on the Freedom the same time last year and our room was not hot. In fact, there were many guests that complained about the hotness of their rooms. There were several passengers that bought fans.
Ship tip
Eat at the main dining room each evening. It is fun and the food is amazing. Also, the dress changes each evening from dinner attire, to cruise elegant, to casual.
We did a sailing and snorkeling excursion. Everyone that worked on the catamaran were fun, nice and very safety aware of their passengers. The water and snorkeling was amazing. After our excursion, we walked around Key West and took in the culture.
Shopped. We made sure we ate local cuisine (conch fritters). Took in the sights. We had a great time even though our excursion was cancelled due to the rough water.
