The cruise was an extremely poor experience. I am 33 and have been cruising since i was 15 and out of all the ships and cruise lines i have been on, I would say this is by far the worst experience i have been one. The staff was unpleasant, the director TJ was less than par, even on the announcements he was always annoyed sounding one quote was " seems like ppl thought 8 am was for everyone and its clearly not" when it came to cruise debarkation. My advice would be to let everyone on the boat off and go enjoy their family for their six months, to hopefully come back energized and just as happy as everyone who spent their hard earned money for an amazing vacation. Very disappointed in my overall Carnival experience and will try other cruise lines again in the future.
Thanks!
Embarkation

very unorganized and the crew in general was very unpleasant, as if they were worn out and tired of being on the ship looking forward to their 6 months off the boat!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
1 out of 5
the food was terrible and repetitive at the buffet, formal nights were very unimpressive, the only place that was fresh were the burgers and the wok.
Onboard Activities
1 out of 5
besides the hairy chest contest and st jude there were no memorable activities on the boat and the director TJ always seemed bothered and annoyed, not as pleasant and excited as all the past cruise directors. Maybe he should take trainings from our cruise director we had on the Valor just 45 days ago! yes we went on two carnival cruises in two months! if this one would have been first we would have cancelled the second one!
Entertainment

Children's Programs
we did not bring our children.
Service and Staff

Waiters and room stewards were extremely dry, didn't learn our names like they have in our past cruises etc. had to call three of the eight days for them to come and clean our room.
I feel Carnival did not put the customer first as they were aware of the damage and did not change our route to alternative destinations like they did for previous cruises!
Again, Carnival took us to Nassau, knowing that all our pre paid excursions were cancelled, sseems like the only stop they were planned for was Half Moon which seemed suspicious to many passengers as Carnival owns that island. Carnival ensured that they would receive all proceeds of anything purchased in Half Moon as well as less that par food that was transported from the boat to have a lunch "buffet" with food from the Freedom!
