Overall, this cruise was a great value. I'm 21 and traveled with a first time cruiser who was more than impressed by the ship and ports of call. The ship was filled with spring breakers which made for a really fun atmosphere with a lot of drinking and dancing on the Lido Deck during our days at sea. I would recommend this cruise to anyone who is looking for a lower priced vacation and who doesn't expect white glove service. With realistic expectations of what you're getting from Carnival (lots of young people, lots of partying, great entertainment, and perhaps average food) you will have a BLAST!

We just got home from sailing on the Carnival Freedom and it was an amazing voyage! From the time we checked in to debarkation was nothing but relaxation, lack of sleep, and fun! I have never really been able to say that there was just too much to do, but this ship has something going on every minute of the day! If you just want to relax you can go lay out by one of the pools or lounge around and play bingo. I really loved the overall experience I had on this ship and would recommend it to anyone. I may have to go back!

This was my 9th cruise...had not been on Carnival in quite a while and was very disappointed. The entertainment was geared toward the college crowd rather than adults. The food (in all areas) was terrible. Would not recommend Carnival to others. I much prefer HAL, Princess, Celebrity, etc.

The ship was just OK. No real bells or whistles... Very rough waters and high winds (not their fault). Service was very lacking on the main parts of the ship (outside of cabin steward and dining room staff, which were great). Waiting 20 minutes at times for a drink while sitting at the bar. They didn't even have both bars open on the Lido Deck after 4pm or so. It made for a long wait if you wanted a drink. Many excursions were cancelled. Dunn's River Falls (Cool Runnings Excursion) was great. My wife got cut on a sharp edge of one of the foot rests on a deck chair.

The food at the evening meals was very mediocre. It felt like they added more people to an already crowded ship. We have cruised several times with Carnival since 1995. We used to love them but should have quit after the last cruise a couple of years ago. We thought maybe it was just one bad time, we were wrong. We met several others that said the same on this trip. The evening meals were not what they used to be, the help was not what it used to be, the overall dining experience was terrible. This used to be my wife's favorite part. The decks have always been busy but this time there were times that there were no chairs available anywhere on the decks. You might think I am kidding but try for yourself. I am all about getting a deal but will not cruise with Carnival again as it is no deal. Pay a little more, you will thank yourself in the end.

Carnival Freedom was a clean, well set up ship. Our cabin was great. The larger shower and counter and sink were great. There was plenty to do with lots of variety. We particularly enjoyed the singers and dancers. The New Orleans show (Big Easy) and the Beatles show were the best we have seen. The talent was great, the sets were fantastic and the musicians were terrific. Thanks for a good cruise.

WE HAD A GROUP OF 23 PEOPLE, 9 KIDS AGED 2 TO 18. EVERYONE WAS ABLE TO FIND THINGS TO DO.

The cruise was overall beautiful. The ship itself was amazing. The only downfalls were the amount if unsupervised kids aboard and the selection of food. We had pork pork and more pork.

I really enjoyed the ship and service recieved on the ship.

Overall the ship was beautiful. The decor although dark was nice colors. There didn't seem to be a theme in decorating like other ships. But it looked beautiful just the same.

The Carnival Freedom was a wonderful ship with an easy layout so as to find places to go. I like the tiered deck at the main pool and the outdoor theatre was very nice in the evenings.

Great ship, a lot to do. Enjoyed every minute.

The staff is very short and no time to stop and answer simple questions. I paid for a picture and the inside of the flip folder was empty. Staff for camp carnaival showed no experience for toddlers. Toddlers will cry when they are away from their parents. Is this a reason to call within 10 mins and told to pick up your child. I knew then I did not want such people around my child. Food was the worst no flavor. I have been on 12 cruises and this was the worst ever. I will never see Carnival no time soon.

Very nice. A little difficult to find our way around at first. We found ourselves walking through too many private areas to get to where we wanted to go. Love the Serenity area. Good idea.

the ship was clean and well maintained. staterooms had a lot of storage.i would recommend to all.
