Review summary

This was my 9th cruise...had not been on Carnival in quite a while and was very disappointed. The entertainment was geared toward the college crowd rather than adults. The food (in all areas) was terrible. Would not recommend Carnival to others. I much prefer HAL, Princess, Celebrity, etc.

Definitely geared to a young crowd...lots of noisy drinking going on. I was disappointed that the number of musical production numbers was limited.

The staff on most ships are hard working and very willing to please.

The size and comfort of the suite were good. The amenities were of poor quality and very limited.

Pros: We had a suite that was very nice and our steward was excellent.

Cons: The food in all venues...Lido deck and dining rooms...was awful!

Recommends Carnival Freedom? No.
