Take in as much as you can when on the ship. There is so much to do. We wish we got to fit in more of the activities they offered. We went to bed far too early some nights and could have been taking advantage of all that was offered.
Take something for sea sickness. We had one rocky day on our last day of travel, that caused a lot of sea sickness. The Gravol did not work for me, but was able to get something from the ships medical area that worked well.
We had rolling seas the entire time. I cannot stress enough how important it is to prepare for that. We were actually fairly seasick the majority of the time, all 4 of us.
Familiarize yourself with location of everything by looking at layout you get before embarking when you check in. Walk around all the floors to find things that you will be interested in later and be able to come back to.
Bring or wear your swimsuit upon embarkation because it took a while for our luggage to arrive and my daughter really wanted to jump in the pool immediately upon boardinf
buy the bottomless bubbles package so your not only drinking lemonade iced tea and water. also try to attend as many shows as possible because there very good
This is a smaller ship, so you will feel the motion of the ocean! Go with a good attitude, be flexible and have a sense of humor and you will have a fantastic vacation.
Overall my trip was great. Because this was a smaller ship it didn't feel crowded, I didn't have to wait for anything, however I felt the ship moving the entire time. If you're prone to sea sickness, I would choose a larger ship.
If you want kids to dart out in front of you or want younger men to flirt with old ladies, go during Spring Break. Otherwise, go another time like we intend to do in the future. Also, if you are older and have pains while walking, request a room near the Atrium closer to the elevators. Also, might want to request a wheelchair when you disembark. We were in line for an hour or two and it killed my feet and back for a couple days afterward.
